Not for 5000 watt amp
I am giving a one because this is not a 5000 watt amp. Don’t understand how the ad has been up this long with the wrong description but this is for the 1500 watt model it shows if you scroll down. Don’t get excited about price and pull the trigger without reading thru fully. Seems as if this has been occurring more on Amazon lately. Anyone know what amp would go well with a 2200 watt harmony ha 122 2 ohm 12 in sub? I have a 500.1 fosgate prime amp and I’m thinking it’s not gonna do the job...

Not enough wattage
I’m running two MTX 12s so maybe this amp is better suited for two 8 inch subs or one 10 inch sub. It got really hot and went into safety mode after 15 minutes. It’s more like a low 400 RMS watt output.

Better for 8" subs
It overheats after 30 minutes running 10s. Shuts itself off until it's cooled down so had to switch to something else
