The dog of the Sandman Universe books, but still okay
Currently, this volume of "Sandman Universe" has a ridiculous one-star review because the review's author seems to think that the book is part of some kind of war on men. It's not. That said, "BoM: Second Quarto" isn't that great of a book, either-- it's certainly not bad, per se, just kinda blah, especially compared to the Sandman Universe's standout book, "Lucifer", or the expansive world-building going on in "House of Whispers". I feel that this incarnation of BoM started off very promising, but has just meandered since the first few issues. Tom Fowler's art is pretty great, but not enough to propel the series from average comics faire. I'd give it 2.5 stars if that were allowed.

Not all reboots are worth it! Spoilers!
As a long time comic book fan. You get used to characters being rebooted for new readers. The first volume was ok. Yet, in volume 2 I am seeing some disturbing things. Kat Howard is focusing more on Ellie and other characters. A trend that will continue in volume 3. The problem is Tim is being transformed from the strong, caring and heroic into a bad tempered, arrogant, and unlikable kid. You can argue that he's a teenager and they are mercurial. That's true. Even in the old Books of Magic, Names of Magic and Age of Magic. Tim made his mistakes. Yet, I see in this volume and in the latest comics Tim is portrayed as a dangerous and reckless brat. All the men are portrayed as villains, or losers. All the women are portrayed as authoritarian, strong and powerful. It wouldn't surprise me if Kat Howard has plans to make Ellie the future star of the book. A to common troupe in comics these days. Turn the male character weak and useless and bring in a female character that will be better just because. Don't be fooled by the fact Constantine is on the cover of Vol 3. His new series is in danger of going the way of this series.

Muy bueno
Este volumen me gustó más que el anterior, el desarrollo de Tim es interesante, y la última escena con su padre fue adorable
