When I received this product the first thing I did was open the bag and when I did - whoa - the aroma from the kaffir lime leaves was amazing. I was so happy because I knew if the aroma was this strong, it would work well in the food. I just made Panang Chicken Curry the other night and used these. They were fantastic. The leaves definitely added their distinct flavor to the sauce. These are very good, and very fresh (for dried leaves). Recommend.Also recommend the Maesri Curry Pastes for the Panang dish. Either the Red Curry or the Panang Curry works great.

Everyone in my family loves Tom Yum soup (with varied spiciness from mild to … well … SPICY!). It is hard to find good quality fresh herbs for the required ingredients for Tom Yum soup. So … I decided to try this, following good reviews from others, and indeed, this is fantastic. Don't be alarmed by the price--this is quite a lot of Kaffir Lime leaves, as they are dried and a whole lot of them fit in the 3.5 oz package. I hydrated a few leaves in a cup of water for 30 minutes, and they became lovely, pliable, and fragrant. (Hint: it is best to cut out the thick 'string' in the middle of the leaf, though you can still cook with it in). I recommend you also get lemongrass and galangal--the same company carries them and I'd ordered all three. Delicious Tom Yum ensued! :)

Unfortunately we can't grow this tree where I live (due to "greening") so we can't have fresh leaves but these are an excellent alternative. The fragrance is wonderful and even tasting the dried version they were full of flavor.

The leaves were whole — not broken as with other vendors. Good taste. I'd buy again.

Love experience in new/different foods and experimenting in my home kitchen.Have purchased several different items from this vendor and all are fresh, well packaged, and true to the description advertised.The kaffir lime leaves are what was missing from my Asian soups. What a blast of flavor. Looking forward to experimenting with other dishes and recipes.Very nice products, well packaged.Now my go to source for spices and cultural foods seasonings.

I needed these for a recipe and was so happy to see they really are perfectly dried and keep their shape. The quality is fantastic and just like the whole fresh leaves. This is such a relief because this item can be very hard to find. I even grew myself for a while until my tree died. I will be ordering a lot more in the future and will be looking at some of their other products too.

.5 oz might not seem a lot, but it MORE than fills a quart jar. My husband has been on a soup kick lately and we have been collecting ingredients as he ranges further and further afield from the mundane soup recipes. One of these adventuresome recipes called for the Dried Kaffir Lime Leaves. So I ordered it up. Could NOT believe the wonderful smell when I opened the pack. Besides what we used in the (really great!) recipe, I was able to "gift" our delighted weekend guests as well as my daughter-in-law with glass jars filled w/ the Kaffir lime leaves. I could have easily made a half dozen plus gifts. Don't think of this as just being a wonderful ingredient on the spice inventory, this really is be a great way to make cooks on your Holiday list delighted!

These leaves bring a whole new level of flavor to any curry dish. I just let them simmer as my curry cooks, and then pull them out and toss them before serving. It's truly incredible how much flavor comes from just 2-3 leaves simmering in the pot. I've turned other people onto using these as well. Good value, arrives quickly, long lasting.
