I love Daniel Smith’s watercolour paints but find them to be on the expensive side. This is a lovely set of primary colours so good for mixing other colours, with the added benefit of the watercolour ground medium.

Nice small tubes of Daniel Smith watercolor to try out. I put some in a tin. They do dry and can be rewetted. Some colors rewet better than others. I think I should have bought a tin with already filled paint pans from DS but have not tried one yet because I spent so much on tubes. They do mix well. 9 items = 6 tubes of paint + 1 small bottle of watercolor ground + 1 plastic case that holds just the 6 tubes + 1 watercolor mixing chart that I have no idea where it is now. They do not count the DS sticker.

Daniel Smith watercolors are so smooth and rich one might be tempted to eat them. But that would not be good for you, and it would be a very expensive snack, so best not do that. As for whether these are a "good value" or "for beginners", beginners can easily find cheaper watercolors, but they're more like to stick with it if they have a more positive experience, and value is high with these because the price is matched by the quality of the product. Not cheap, but a little goes a long way and this kit of wee 5 ml tubes of primary colours offering a wide range of mixing options would make a wonderful introduction.

I colori sono veramente incredibili la qualità è più che ottima in più troverete all'interno un opuscolo con dei dettagli veramente ben costruiti su come creare i colori secondari e successivamente utilizzarli l'opuscolo è in italiano e in francese mi sembra proprio interessante anche se queste informazioni potrai trovare su internet un prodotto che vale la pena al costo proposto sicuramente
