SABRENT 512GB Rocket NVMe PCIe M.2 2242 DRAM-Less Low Power Internal High Performance SSD (SB-1342-512)

Ok so I know you are NOT supposed to add this size drive to your steam deck BUT I extended the heat cover for drive and the metal plate holds this drive down as it barley misses the wifi antennas. After 2 weeks this drive is running amazing. I run test and no heat issues that are different than stock. I'm using 512 gb and saved 200$ going this route than buying Steams expensive model. Download Decky for more OLED coloring and grab you this drive the value is insane.

Used as new boot drive for Win 10 installation on an ASUS x99 deluxe MB. It does not have a heat sink assembly, which seems to be OK for a boot drive. I'd get a heat sink version if you are going to run a lot of continuous data (video editing) thru it.

Added more storage. No issues at all.

Bought it for my A1708 MacBook, before it will die on me and show the missing iOS file logo when booting it up. I am in South Africa, shipping was great too, took like 2 weeks to arrive but was in good condition. Overall very happy, and the speed of the SSD is great honestly I feel like it's even improved 😁

It works for the steam deck but it's bigger then the original so you might run into issues to fully close it back up or reapply heat shield

These are great drives, even the little 512GB models. I have them in 512GB, 1TB, and now 2TB for my Acer Nitro 5 laptop. It now has a Sabrent Rocket Q 1TB m.2 boot drive, Sabrent Rocket Q 2TB m.2 storage drive for games, and a 4TB Western Digital SATA SSD for general storage. Performance is great for all the drives. Very happy with the speed and capacity. Reliability is only assumed at this point, but I have no worries with this brand based on their history producing reliable SSD drives.

I had a small amount of space on my macbook, just 128 GB. I decided to upgrade. Everything came up, it was easy to install! SSD does not heat up, the average temperature at games is 37-40 degrees! I recommend it!

Nunca antes había escuchado de Sabrent, es una marca estadounidense fabricada en Taiwan, una muy buena alternativa a las Samsung, Intel, etc. Velocidad de transferencia bastante bueno, el tamaño en general de la SSD es muy compacto (2252), y lo mejor que tiene bastante capacidad de almacenamiento. La instalé en una laptop hp zbook 14 g2, la cuál tiene puerto M.2 con soporte para NVMe pero no tiene controladores nativos para este protocolo en el UEFI por lo tanto tuve que investigar en internet para hacerlo funcionar. A fin de cuentas por los pasos adicionales que tuve que hacer mejor le regrese la SSD M.2 SATA que tenía previamente, ya la usaré para otro equipo.

Ingebouwd in een MacBook Pro A1708 13 inch, in combinatie met speciale adapter. Is maar liefst 5 keer sneller dan de originele ssd. Origineel haalde Max 300 Mb/s terwijl deze 1500 Mb/s haalt. Zowel schrijven als lezen. Ben je een beetje handig, en kun je een filmpje vinden op YouTube dan is inbouwen echt 15 min werk. Absolute aanrader!

YouTubeを見ながら純正SSD128Gから512GBに換装した。（アダプターとか必要ですが） 思ったより換装は簡単に終わった。 相性問題が出るかと心配したが問題なく換装出来た。 現在のところ安定して動作している。

Bello il packaging,da 5 stelle,ottimo il formato (uguale all’ssd originale) quindi è plug&play,tutto bello tranne l’utilizzo,ne ho cambiati due ma non c’è verso di farlo riconoscere dal Mac, peccato...... Essendo testardo, visto che tutti lo usano, ho riprovato l'acquisto con un SSD da 1tera e questa volta l'ha riconosciuto, dopo 2 mesi abbondanti di utilizzo quotidiano per lavoro, posso dire di essere assolutamente soddisfatto, le prestazioni non sono quelle dichiarate, comunque siamo sui 2000 in lettura con punte a 2200 e sui 1700 in scrittura con punte intorno ai 1900 scarsi. L'unico difetto riscontrato che in stand by consuma un po' più velocemente la batteria ma niente di esagerato, scalda come l'originale e finalmente gira fluidissimo sempre, prima con l'SSD a tappo non sembrava più un MAC. Consigliato sicuramente, un saluto a tutti.
