I formed the "21" out of letters I did not use because this set does not come with letters. I was aware of that and it ended up being pretty easy to form the two numbers. Some letters stuck better than others. At first, every letter was stuck on pretty good. The sash sat for a night and in the morning, I noticed that some letters had come off. I re-ironed them once again and they stuck for as long as we needed them to. I would recommended these if you want a cheap set of letters for something like a sash or something you will only use once. I'm not sure they would stay on if they were ironed onto a shirt or something else that will be washed. A project that should have taken 30 minutes according to the instructions took me almost two hours.
