Also the ability to trigger tests such as the EVAP sensor test makes it well worth the money. Not all sensors test continuously and need to be triggered for your computer to test and show trouble codes. This is extremely useful for Californians out there for smog tests, as you may have to drive approx 50 miles (about 10 dollars in my truck) for these sensors to trigger after clearing codes. I learned that the hard way a couple of years ago. Unfortunately it does not read all the sensors. The first sensor, which is an Air/Fuel Ratio sensor is read, and the second sensor which is an O2 sensor is read, but the third sensor, also an O2 sensor is not listed in the display. Emailed manufacturer but never heard back. So while fine for most cars, this feature which I explicitly purchased this product for is incomplete. My auto is a 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid. On the plus side, it is a very good value compared to simple code readers.
