Curl enhancing products can frequently be difficult - they can be ineffective, greasy. heavy, or totally stiff when they dry that you really aren't sure about using them. Not Carol's Daughter. It is a beautiful, light, effective product that works on both wet hair AND dry. Or it will reactivate curls on dry hair with a little misting. In short, I love this product. Oh, and it smells really nice too!

I've always had wavy hair that I tamed with a variety of straightening products and 30+ minutes of high heat blowdrying. It took about an hour to style my hair when all was said and done. I recently developed adult-onset epilepsy and cannot drive or work. I am a prisoner in my own home. So it didn't make sense to continue that sort of upkeep for my husband, kids, and pets. I decided to explore my waves, which had been getting curlier of late. I went without any product or any fancy devices, just air dried and scrunched. What resulted was a curl not much better than what I had, which was meh. However, what was better was the less than ten minutes it took me to style it. So I did some research and found products and asked my sister what she did with her beautiful curls. With those products/styling tips in mind, I tried again and again...and again...and again. Eventually, I came to a place where I wasn't completely satisfied, but it was still less time to style and they looked far better than when I'd started. Then....I met a lady in a grocery store with AMAZEBALL curls. They bounced, shined, and framed her face. I could not help myself, I had to ask what she used. And she said Carol's Daughter. I had never heard of them and was intrigued, so I took a peek on Amazon when I got home. The prices were fair (especially the shampoo/conditioner) and then there were the Black Friday discounts, which took even more off the price. So I finally pulled the trigger and the products arrived today. I used this ocurl refresher as were leaving early on a family adventure and I didn't have the time for the entire styling routine. So I just used the curl refresher and... WOWZA!!! With just a few spritzes and some scrunches, my hair looked curlier and BETTER that it does straight out of the shower. And it took less than 3 minutes (I timed it) to accomplish that. Usually, I can make my curls last through one day post-wash and even then, they are more like frizzy waves. This time? Perfect, round, frizz-free curls after the second day post-wash. I told you: AMAZEBALLS!!!! My hair is soft, not crunchy, and NO frizz. It is shiny, most definitively not greasy. It is totally schrunchable, not crispy in any way. It looks and feels like NO product is in it. It smells clean and fresh, perhaps a bit like cocoa butter and vanilla, but it's not overwhelming. My husband and 14-year-old daughter both said it smelled really good. But what I love the most? I can get this refreshed, curly look in LESS THAN THREE MINUTES. Now, who knows how the other products from this line work. But I am sure impressed with this one and cannot wait to wash my hair and style it with the defining cream. All I have to say is that if you are on the fence, I highly, HIGHLY recommend this particular Carol's Daughter product. I will be back to review the others shortly, but I have very high hopes. I decided to order this product when I saw the pictures and how it puts curls together. My hair is not curly, neither straight, it has really frizzy texture, either being my natural color or dyed blond. For over 2 years I'm using non ammonia hair dye on my roots, no blow dry or any heating tools. I let my hair grow after I had a huge loss like 2 yrs ago, due to overprocessing, and extreme winter and stress. My new hair is not as damaged, as it's natural texture is missing a nice flow, and it was always been impossible to wear it down unless I used a blow dryer or a flat iron. This hair was never touched by flat iron and after I put Carol's Daughters milky spray, it got this beautiful moisture, smell and thickness. I can tell soy protein or whatever ingredient binds so well with my hair and it got thick and straight. I just brush it and it looks wonderful. If I want it wavy I'd just use my hands and crushed it a bit, which is great in the summer and on humid weather. I feel like my hair is nourished and will break less, since this product helps with dryness. I have it in my bag and if I spend lots of time outside or in the Sun and my hair starts frizzing, just a little touch helps.I've tried dozens of hair oils, silicone, no silicone, anti frizz sprays and leave in conditioners, but this is far the best I've ever tried. Smells natural, and wonderful. To have this hair texture and not having to use any drying/heating tools is good for me. If I want to give it more festive style it's also easier since hair seems thicker and softer.After several washes and days of use I feel like my hair looks and feels better with so little effort.

Does the job for rejuvenating curls, and smells really good. I wish the spray nozzle had more of a misting-spray effect though; it shoots a streamline of product so I can’t spray it straight in my hair

This product works. It does a decent job of reviving curls. I naturally have some frizz and this definitely doesn’t alleviate that. It leaves the hair feeling kind of stiff and tacky. The smell kind of reminds me of a box of crayons. It’s weird. I definitely wouldn’t use this unless I was planning to wash my hair the next day because of how my hair feels after using it. However, if I’m in a pinch I know I can rely on it to help me out.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT! Not only does it help tame my curls but it smells amazing! I am constantly getting compliments when I walk past my coworkers on how good my hair smells! Already ordering my second bottle! Worth it for sure. I also bought the shampoo & conditioner!

Purchased this for my son who has long curly hair and I have to say wow! I love there products so I wasn't too surprised at how beautiful it made his curls look! No frizzy hair! Highly recommended!
