Works great for me!
Ok this arrived today, and it is great. It goes together very easy out of the box. And works with my other DeWalt batteries, so It got a real work out. I have 4 other batteries all charged so went on a trimming spree and just swapped batteries in seconds. All the trimming I did I would guess would be the equivalent of 6 maybe 7 trees and it did great. Cuts nice and fast too. Now it was a little sketchy holding it with one hand over my head for a hard to reach branch. But likely more on me than it.

Name Brand & worth it.
Easy to assemble, I already had Chain oil from my other Gas powered chainsaw so filled oil chamber & installed battery after overnight charging. Worked great & battery lasted approx. 1-1/12 hours of use. I still had power in the battery when finished. Used it to trim & cut branches off my large Oak tree. With all extensions attached it does get heavy at any angle from straight up, so be careful reaching. I had bought a cheap $99 unit before & broke 30 min. later so don't go cheap at least for me was not worth it. I like the battery type because no cable to watch out for branches dropping on it. Very good unit to work with & easy to clean after done.

Great Dewalt, Fantastic Seller!
First and foremost I would like to start with the seller CPO, the package arrived opened with the factory tape missing, in no way did this leave their facility like this, when I opened the package I noticed the battery was missing, so my only assumption is that somewhere along the line in transit that event took place. At first I immediately engaged a return but then I contacted amazon and CPO responded super fast, I explained the situation, and they took care of it right away, so fantastic 5 star seller! It sure beat repackaging and hauling this thing to be shipped back and waiting. So I’m extremely happy! As far as the tool, If you are a Dewalt guy like me, what can I say, it’s just another amazing tool to have in your arsenal.. I just used it for the first time yesterday, just like dewalts small 20volt chainsaw you will need bar and chain oil for the chain to be lubricated while cutting, so make sure you add that to your list. I normally buy that by the gallon as I have numerous chainsaws however if you’re just using this one a quart will most likely get you going for an entire season depending on the amount of trees you are trimming. I wound up trimming approximately 35/40 trees around 10-12’ up and did so within about 45 minutes and I did not use the third extension pole As stated in some unhappy reviews that expected this tool to measure out to be 15’ it’s not, and you need to understand that’s its based off the height of a normal human added to it. So the tool does approximately measure out to a little over 9ft in total when all 3 extensions are used so indeed you will unless you are a very short person be able to get the advertised height standing on your own two feet. Beyond that height you will be on a ladder. The trigger safety on the handle that needs to be engaged while operations takes a little getting used to, little tricky at first but then you get the groove fairly quickly. I also read some other reviews about the connector between extension vibrating loose and indeed that does happened, I had to tighten mine 3-4 times during the use, no biggie and completely understandable given the vibration and maneuvering one has to do while trimming. All in all the tool worked great, cut right through the limbs and trees with ease and quickness. When done I checked remaining battery level and it only took one bar away from the fully charged battery. So it was a great buy as usual with nearly all of Dewalts tools, no regrets, and again an amazing seller! Thanks Dewalt and CPO!

Pretty Good, a Few Complaints
Another tool to make us drool from Dewalt. I have a Stihl pole chainsaw, gas powered. It's a beast. That's the fastest cutting chain saw I've ever used. But... yes there's a but... although it actually weighs 20 lbs, it's far too heavy to be very useful. 20 lbs doesn't sound very heavy, but when you've extended your arms out away from your body to cut something, 20 lbs is exhausting. I can cut 1 branch with it then have to rest awhile, & I can only do that a couple times before I can't go on. So when my son showed me Dewalt's battery pole chain saw, & it weighed only 10 lbs, I had to get it for my body's sake. Now, having used it, I'm pleased overall with my purchase. This thing is so much easier to lift & hold out away from your body. I cut a bunch of limbs off a tree yesterday & could have kept going. It takes the same battery packs that the other Dewalt tools do & that's a fantastic decision they made. I have about 10 different Dewalt battery powered tools & they're all quality tools. This saw is easy to assemble, very user friendly, & handy as heck if you're a homeowner with trees. I was cutting tree limbs with it that I didn't have the strength to cut with my Stihl. I do wish Dewalt made extra extension bars for it, but they don't. I have a complaint that someone else mentioned in the reviews - these saws are shipped with the chain tension incorrectly set - far too tight. Beware of that if you buy one. As soon as you get your saw, adjust the tension. And while you're at it, put oil in the chain oiler 'cause they come dry. The 2nd complaint I have is... these saws are slightly underpowered, which causes 2 issues: 1) the saw wants to dance around on the surface of whatever limb you want to cut instead of powering through it. The chain moves much slower than a gas saw does, so it doesn't cut anywhere near as fast & that's what causes this dancing around. 2) the saw often bogs down when trying to cut, & the reason why is because it's underpowered. A gas saw will never do this. Dewalt says in the instructions to get the saw turning full blast BEFORE moving the blade down onto the limb. You have to get a running start for this saw to perform. I really wish Dewalt would have amped up this tool. If they had I would give them 5 stars. In spite of these 2 issues, it's easy to work around them & compensate for the low power. The most important factor in Dewalt's favor is how they kept the weight of the tool down. That's far more important than the low power. A powerful saw is worthless if it's too heavy to use.

Works very well. Cuts through large branches with ease. Battery lasts a long time. It’s a bit heavy with both extensions on but that’s to be expected.

Lightweight and super easy to use. The extension pole makes all the difference. Went on a happy tree cutting spree over the weekend and it did a wonderful job of taking down branches and limbs in seconds. Like all Dewalt tools, you can’t go wrong and they’re worth every penny you pay.

My product arrive on time and in great condition. When I noticed the battery and charger for the Pole saw wasn't in the Box. I contacted Alyyz toolz. The person I was talking to was extremely friendly and apologetic and quickly shipped me the product that was missing from my package. I would highly recommend them and would not hesitate to order from them again.
