I bought this life proof case ALONG with the floating wrist strap. I spent a little more money SPECIFICALLY for the floatation device and IT DID NOT WORK. When you test the strap it works, but when you put the phone in, it doesn't! The first second my phone hit the water, it sunk straight down to the bottom of the ocean. My Iphone 11 pro max is GONE. Now, I have wasted the money on this case AND I had to buy another $1500 phone. If you want your phone to float, DO NOT BUY THIS CASE. I don't know why they would say its for an Iphone 11 pro max if it can't support the weight of an Iphone. Just trying to give the best warning I can!!! ### ⭐ Phone gets wet. Case resist water. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2021* I wish I would have had a camera handy to take a picture of this case and the seal once I placed my iPhone 11 Pro Max inside. My iPhone was the only camera avail and could not take a picture of how much water got inside this “waterproof case” . It passed the 30 minutes napkins dry test. So I was optimistic. Once I inserted my iPhone 11 Pro Max in, I realized I could see the iPhone’s body exposed on one of the sides. I pressed the edges and also pushed case against a flat surfaced and applied pressured into the case edges to keep tight. Set timer to 30 min. Placed phone in bowl less than 12 inches deep. Saw case edges coming apart and water flowing in. Did not wait for timer to complete since my phone already getting wet and camera disconnected. Made several test to make sure it was not me overlooking instructions. The more you remove the case the less adhesive it gets to tight the case. Maybe once under 30 f it gets tight, but then your phone is already full of water and camera totally Unresponsived. Advised, get this case if you are not intended to be submerged over than 12 inches of water and over 10 min. Your IPhone 11 Pro Max does better water resistant without case and last deeper and longer and functional without the case. I’m so glad I purchased this case! Not once did it leak (it was in the water a lot over our 5 day vaca), touch screen worked great all the time including in the water. The pics and videos turned out very clear as well as the sound on videos!
