Cage screen
I bought this to replace screen on a lizard cage that got damaged . Screens are a pain to replace in my opinion but it is sturdy and the black color was what I needed

Disappointed the screen isn't welded / soldered in place, but easy to work with. Wear gloves!
Needed to replace lightweight fiberglass screen on a door to my back porch that my enthusiastic dog managed to claw some holes in. Chose this well-reviewed aluminum screen and bought it along with some 0.125 (1/8 inch) round spline from Amazon.Screening material is reasonably easy to work with, though when cutting a piece to size it would help to have a nice flat workbench or other surface to cut it to suit the screen, either with scissors or a utility knife. This is because the screen seems to not be welded or soldered each cell, but rather fastened collectively among the cells leaving some play. Wear gloves if you fear getting poked!Splined into place with a nylon splining tool more easily than I expected and cut the remaining screen material away with a utility knife. Razor blade works fine for that lighter fiberglass screen but for this I opted for a utility knife which did nicely. Disposed of the scraps by folding them up small enough to fit into a handy water bottle and into the bin given recycling in my area is picky about anything that might snarl their equipment, whether wire or strips of leftover screen or whatever. So far, so good! We'll see how things go after the dog has a round or few versus this stuff.

Looks good installed.
Easy to work with. It would be nice if you could order the exact size for your door so you didn't have to trim it. In my application on an antique wooden screen door that would be nice so you had finished edges all around not prone to staples pulling through. But maybe that isn't practical and is minor in any case. I would definitely buy again. Turned out great and looks great!

Good buy
It works perfectly for the crawlspace screens I made. It seems strong enough as well.

No hype for this product
aluminum screen is probably about the same across the board, but the big distinction which separates one from another is: when the packaging fails and the screen gets bent. It left a series of ripples in an otherwise smooth screen. I thought of returning it, but it took the shipper a week and a half to deliver it. It's too much work for the DIY enthusiast like myself when you can only pray stretching the screen will resolve the problem. It didn't. Bottom line: you can't find aluminum much wider than 36 inches, so finding a product like it is going to be as tough as seeing it bent, then putting it in that way.

Sturdy
I used this to make platform birdfeeders. So far so good. Hasn't been pecked through and easy to hose off. No rust.
