Cleans better than the liquids and GREAT for travel!
These work well - actually much better than the liquid brands we used. We love them for traveling too - it's so lightweight and easy to put some in a baggy and pack for doing laundry as you go. These would work well for college students or apartment dwellers too. I love that they have a much lower environmental impact and less waste - no plastics to recycle! This should be the norm - not an alternate.

Happy Laundry
These detergent sheets work really well. They dissolve quickly even in cold water and leave clothes clean and fresh. They’re eco-friendly, compact (easy to store), and surprisingly effective. For the quality, they offer great value for money. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to the bulky detergent from the supermarket.

Must read!
I wanted to get away from traditional laundry detergents for a while but the eco friendly brands were not good at cleaning clothes. I tried multiple different options and was not satisfied. Either the clothes smelled worse than when I put them in the wash, were not clean or there was residue from the sheets not dissolving fully. A couple years ago I started working for a B Corp. So I check labels now in order to support other B Corps. That’s how I came across Tru Earth. Being a B Corp gives me peace of mind. But it also works better than any of the other brands I tried. If you’re tired of trying to find a good, eco friendly product, stop here. I get the Fresh Linen detergent and fabric softener. Here are a few tips to get the best out of this product and enjoy it the way you should as a consumer. 1. Add a few clothes to the bottom of the washer first then put in the sheets, then add more clothes. This product does not leave residue like others but it can if you throw them on top or put them in in the bottom. 2. Use a full sheet unless you only washing a couple items. 3. Add a 1/4 cup of vinegar into the bleach compartment. This is a must. This product is way better than other products but it’s not filled with all the chemicals in regular detergent that make our clothes soft and smelly good. Vinegar kicks this product into overdrive. Don’t add more than a 1/4 cup or you’ll smell the vinegar, but that quarter cup makes your clothes soft your towels soft and boosts that fresh linen scent. It’s amazing and I thank my daughter-in-law for this tip. 4. Keep a good spot treatment handy. With the help of the vinegar, the Tru Earth gets your clothes clean but it’s not good for stains. Eg red hot sauce. You can’t just leave stains alone with eco friendly detergents. You need to treat them ASAP or good luck. If I get s stain I put it under cold water (never hot) and rinse as much as possible then treat it. It usually comes out first wash. Check before you put it in the dryer. Once that stain meets with heat it’s there and getting it out will be a pain. I promise you that if you use these tips this product will be a game changer for you. You’ll never go back to that chemical filled junk. If you compost, rip that packaging up when you’re done and toss it in. All around better for you, better for the planet.

Tru Earth is a good product
I really like Tru Earth. I like the idea of not throwing more plastic in the landfills. Most times I use half a sheet of I have torn it into pieces, put the sheet in whole, placed it in the detergent dispenser and put it directly in with the clothes. It always completely dissolves. It smells fresh and cleans the clothes perfectly.

Compact, Effective, and Eco-Friendly—A Great Alternative to Traditional Detergents
I’ve been using Tru Earth Compact Dry Laundry Detergent for several years now, and I’m really impressed. The sheets are incredibly compact, which makes them perfect for storage and travel. No more bulky plastic jugs taking up space in the laundry room or ending up in the recycling bin—just a slim, lightweight package that’s easy to handle. The fresh linen scent is pleasant without being overpowering, and clothes come out smelling clean and feeling soft. In terms of general cleaning power, these strips are absolutely comparable to the big-name liquid detergents I’ve used in the past—possibly even better, considering how little mess they make. They also work perfectly in both standard washing machines and high-efficiency (HE) models—we’ve owned both types, and the results have been consistently great. I can’t comment much on how well they tackle heavy stains, since we usually pre-treat spots with a separate product. Honestly, I’ve found that no detergent alone (Tru Earth or any other brand) ever fully gets rid of stubborn stains, so we haven’t expected miracles in that area. Overall, these detergent strips are an environmentally friendly, affordable option that delivers excellent everyday cleaning results. If you’re looking to cut down on plastic waste and simplify your laundry routine without sacrificing performance, I’d definitely recommend giving Tru Earth a try.

Great for people or pets sensitive to fragrance
These are the best laundry detergent sheets of all time. We've been using them for years due to having pets sensitive to ingredients and fragrance, these are great!! Only one sheet is needed per wash and gets the job done.

Best Thing to Happen to Laundry Soap
These work great! My kids have sensitive skin, so I have to be careful about perfumes and dyes for them. These sheets don't bother their skin at all! Clothes come out nice and clean. Plus, the sheets take up way less space in the cabinet. They're lightweight and easy to handle, compared to big jugs (and they don't drip!). I keep these puppies on auto ship and never have to worry about laundry soap anymore :)

They're ok.
I've been using these for a few months now. Here are my thoughts. Are these sustainable? I think so. This is a great idea. No more need for big plastic jugs. Comes in paper packaging that can be recycled. I feel better about my minimized carbon footprint (albeit the fact that I have to get these delivered from Amazon which is an issue in of itself. But I got into the habit of only needing to order about 4 packs of these a month to last in between deliveries and minimize deliveries). Does it dissolve in the wash? Yes. I have a top loading machine. I use two strips minimum at a time and place them directly where the water will pour down. Never had an issue of residue strips leftover in the machine. Does it clean? Kind of. For lightly soiled clothes, it's fine, but I can't rationalize only using one strip...I'll use two. For regularly soiled clothes (I have a toddler so think dirt/mud on white socks and food stains on shirts), I'll use two to three strips (less for small loads and more for bigger loads), and no, the clothes dont come out completely stain free, white, and clean had I used other detergents (like oxiclean). Also, after a few months of using these, I've been noticing a bit of fade in my colors. Because of COVID19, this doesn't matter for our 'at home' clothes, but I am worried about having to use them for my work clothes when I have to go back into the office (blacks, etc). I'm thinking I'll reserve the strips for regular clothes and use special detergent (woolite) for nicer clothes when I go back to work, so the goal of not having to buy big plastic jugs wont be entirely fulfilled. Do these smell good? Yes and no. I get what some people are saying that they dont make your clothes smell good. The strips themselves smell good. But during and after a wash, the clothes smell gross, sort of like dirty water. After drying with a Bounce dryer sheet, the clothes smell good. Never tried it without a dryer sheet, since I dont use fabric softener in the wash. Are these a good bang for my buck? These are definitely more expensive than regular liquid detergent. Each pack says it can wash 32 loads, but because I have to use more than 1 strip to get clothes more clean, I dont even get 32 loads. So I probably go through 3 packs a month for all my clothes (me, my husband, my toddler, plus sheets, towels, etc). So, no, these aren't economical, but I take comfort in knowing I'm not contributing to a lot of plastic waste. I'm hoping these guys can improve their product to be stronger, more concentrated per strip AND bring their price down as time goes on. Conclusion? They're ok and I'll keep using them, unless I find a better plastic free product...though I hope they improve their product.
