Just what I expected and needed.

Works as described

As stated similar but slightly thinner and easier to apply from the tube. Goes in a range bag as opposed to a grease gun tube of above mentioned product. Buy it, it works.

Does what its meant to do.

this stuff is amazing!!!, I use it on every firearm I own and even a few other places where I want the lubrication to stay put (door hinges, my office chair). Really smooths out the action, worked wonders on my Mosin Nagant M91/30, the bolt has a lot of slop and after fireing about 3- 7 rounds would bind up a lot but with this stuff it doesn't seem to bind even after 20+ rounds have cycled through it. Now this stuff does collect a lot of crap so after a while your piece is gonna look pretty dirty, but keep in mind that part of the awesomeness of this stuff is that it traps and ISOLATES the dirt, grit, and gunk, protecting the metal peices better than average gun oil, so resist cleaning the action untill you can' t take it anymore! Great product and I recommend it to everybody I know who is into guns, and a even a few of my friend who aren't

I just purchased a new Para Ordnance 1911, took it home and tried to rack the slide. I do have some arthritus, but I could not pull the slide back unless I used every bit of strength I had. I have never had such a tight gun in my life. The thought of me having to get rid of this gun was racing through my mind until I talked with my shooting buddy and explained the problem. He immediately said he would bring some great stuff he had at home that would help cure it. Next day I stripped the gun down and applied the Slide-Glide and took it out to the desert. After a 100 rds fired and Slide-Glide I would say the gun loosened up by about 50%. I realized the Para has real tight tolerances that needed to be worn down a little, but without the Slide-Glide, I don't think this would have happened as fast. Now I put this product on all my weapons.

Just now applied to my first 1911 so as far as effectiveness I can’t say but it does come out stringy and I’d say a little goes a long way
