Nice quality and appears to be actual stainless steel, and even the hardware is stainless steel. I’m not sure if the price was a mistake, but the stainless steel was the same price as the carbon steel, that will eventually start rusting. I’m happy with my purchase.

Update: the seller saw my original post and contacted me. I was impressed with that. Although I modified the item to make it work, they offered and gave me a full refund. This spoke volumes to me and as such, I would buy from this seller againAlthough it’s partially my fault, because I ordered this item at the last possible moment, I didn’t expect it to arrive broken. The workmanship at Spot welding the burner to the frame was poor and it seem to have fallen apart during shipping. Because there was no time to return it or find another one I had to rig up a system to make this one work. I did not try to return it because I had to modify it to use it immediately.

Purchased for use with a wok and fits ours perfectly, feels sturdy and cost saving compared to other brands. Starts up and runs as intended.

A good majority of the paint/coating burned off on the first use.

Immediately upon opening this package I could tell it was not assembled in a quality manner. The welds on the inner side of the stand have very little material left and will likely fail soon. In addition the welded support bars around the burner top are not flush with the outer ring causing larger diameter pots to wobble.The worst part however is the stand. Clearly the stand legs and ring are not stainless steel and produce a wobbly base. I expect that they are likely aluminum since a magnet sticks to them.Overall I think this stand burner will work, but not the quality I would expect for the money, especially given it boasts a USA product. At the end of the day it falls in line with most all the other low quality stuff that is made in China.

I am modifying my review -First and foremost, the welding on this is not very strong and it came apart when I took it out of the box. I understand things can get damaged during shipping- but I felt like it was packaged well. I was bummed that the welding fell apart so I reviewed the item- and the seller did contact me really quickly. I will say that the customer service is good- just wish the welding was better.

Only issue I had was I guess during shipping my package was tossed around a few times because the ring that goes around the outside had a couple dings in it. I had to tap it back out to try and make it round again. Used it to fry one turkey so far and it worked great.

My old gas grill finally bit the dust, so I needed a new gas grill for my homebrewing. Based on the description of the ARC Propane Burner, I was sure that this would work. The design of the grill is perfect for what I need and the regulator delivers a nice gas flow for a slow boil with my 16 qt. pot. Looking forward to many years of great brewing...
