broke on the very first try
Tried digging a hole in my garden. I went in with my new plastic trowel, into the tilled, loosened soil, and the handle broke off on the first scoop. At the point where the handle meets the scoop, there is no strong connection at all. Even digging in sand, I wouldn't have confidence in it not breaking.

Junk
Unless you are digging in potting soil or a sandbox these are not for you. Handle broke off first time using it. I have used other plastic garden tools without any issues in the past.

Don't bother with these, get metal tools
After two weeks both shovels are broken. Only used on them for about three, maybe four hours. Being plastic, I was using them gingerly. Very disappointing. The hoe has been handy. Still in one piece. Invest more in metal tools

Thick and sturdy
Very nice for small hands and so sturdy.! I actually enjoy using them... BUT I do suggest grip cushions on handles for comfort after long use of the tools because I do get stress in my fingers from gripping the handles for long periods. I'm going find some type of remedy for that on my set, but overall I am happy with the quality.

Nice entry-way garden set
I bought this set for the light gardening I do, and they are holding up well. They helped me dig up dirt around the plants in my yard so I could add fertilizer, and didn't bend. They also wash up nicely under the hose.

Don't bend or rust
I live in Florida where all metal things rust in my garage. For that reason, I choose non-metal gardening tools. These work well and they don't rust.

Bendable
When this product arrived I was disappointed because it was bendable. If you’re digging in the dirt, you don’t need a shovel that bends. The rake wasn’t used.
