This is a helluva coat. It's light but insulates well. It's the middle of a cold snap in Nebraska and wind chills can hit -20 below. This coat does an excellent job blocking the wind and keeps you from freezing. Don't get me wrong - you're not going to think you are in a sauna in such conditions but you won't be shivering. If you're exerting yourself - say, shoveling snow - pretty soon you won't feel the cold at all. Fit and construction are excellent and it's water and dog slobber repellent. Mobility is good and it's long enough to CYA and keep it from freezing ,too. Fantastic bang for the buck!

I'm bored most of the winter as it was comfortable and warm. The pockets are deep and enough for the things I carry. Detachable hood is nice as I don't always need it. The velcro pockets and the strips over the zipper was a learning experience, but I got used to them. Very satisfied, especially for the price.

The fit is good and very stylish. I haven't worn it in the rain or snow but its a very sturdy and don't anticipate any problems. My only complaint is that it is extremely wrinkled when taken out of the package

Overall the jacket is pretty good. It is comfortable and keeps me warm. There are a few features I don't really like. My thumb always grabs the extra cuff. Maybe this could be good for some. I don't tend to use them so they kind of just get in the way. And the velcro on the right side always grabs the cuff so it is showing some pilling. There are pockets on the inside of the jacket, which is great, but the smaller zip pocket on the left side is really small. I usually put my cell in there since I am right handed. But it does not fit well partially because of the size of the pocket, and also because it kind of angles. I usually end up trying to zip the pocket a but but that just makes it harder to access. Finally, something about the neck is odd. For some reason the left side always wants to rest on my face.

I've lived in multiple cold locations. This coat is the warmest non restrictive one I've ever worn. Detachable hood is convenient for other headgear yet large enough to wear over headgear. The water resistant outer shell quickly beads up moisture to keep you dry. Sleeves have a thumb hole that allows for gloves to be worn without sleeves riding up and exposing wrists. Strongly reccomend. Sizing chart measures perfectly.

Normally I don't like winter coats. They're too hot to drive in, too uncomfortable. They're too bulky and it's hard to move in them. But this jacket is so well thought out, I really look forward to wearing it.First of all, the zipper is first-rate, it zips on the first try every time. It's got a perfect pocket on the chest for your phone. It's got a hand warmer built into it with a hole for your thumb. The hood is excellent (and removable). It has a brim to stop it from getting in your eyes. The coat also completely waterproof and water-tight. It's got adjustments on the waist and the sleeves to keep the jacket from intruding where it shouldn't. It's got plenty of storage space. The pockets are in the right spot if you want to put your hands in them and they're warm.Best of all it's very warm. You could be outside for a long time and be fine. The wind won't bother you, the snow won't bother you. I think this coat is a bargain. I'm very happy I won't be freezing this winter!I'm reading through these reviews and I feel I should add that my coat does not have a double zipper and it zips from the right side like a conventional coat. Perhaps they replaced the zipper on newer models or some of these reviews are for a different coat. My zipper is flawless. First time, every time. No jamming.

This coat met all my expectations. I mean, when you first get it, it comes in a black zip bag so it "looks" quite small, cheap, and underwhelming. But after I wore it for a day, I have to say this coat is exactly as it is titled: a coat that has jacket-like qualities (being lighter than your typical fluffy coat) but not bulky like a typical parka. It's essentially perfect for everyday winter weather, as well as some snow activities. Maybe not climbing Mt. Everest or traveling Antarctica, as that requires specialized gear, but for the most part this coat will cover all things typical.And yes it does insulate heat very well. This isn't a sauna suit where you can run around naked in and expect to reach optimal temperatures while outside in freezing temperatures. Realistically can a person stay warm with this coat in a sweater and a pair of jeans? Yes, yes they can and be comfortably cozy.Would I recommend it? For the price point and meeting all the standards of a winter coat, yes. Yes I would.Oh and the sizing? It is true to size. Since it's a winter type coat it will be a little "bigger" but not to the point where you are swimming in it. Neither is it a tight fit. Like if you wear small shirts and small-medium sweaters, this coat will still have room to breath while fit snug on you.

It's a nice warm parka with large zippered bottom pockets that are big enough even with gloves. I bought several of these parkas. It’s a parka because it is quite a bit longer than a regular coat. I like that is has a waterproof shell, cotton for warmth, and is machine-washable, although I haven’t tried washing yet. The first parka I purchased had mistakes, such as the chest zipper being only half the length it was supposed to be and the main zipper sliders being on the left side instead of on the right side as they are supposed to be on a man’s coat. But the subsequent purchases were all as they should be. The main zipper has an upper and lower slider. When unzipping, one has to pull the bottom slider down, then the top slider down, then pull up on the other side.

La chamarra es muy bonita, es bastante calientita y suave por dentro. No calienta como para climas muy fríos pero es suficientemente abrigadora.Es bastante impermeable, mejor que otras. Tiene muchas bolsas.
