Gibson Elite Pueblo Springs 16-Piece Dinnerware set, Multicolor

I love this dinnerware! Bright vivid colors. Great for mixing and matching with other south of the border inspired dishes. The bowls and mugs are much larger than what I have found in most dinnerware sets. The dinner and dessert plates are somewhat concave and will not hold huge portions, but they are exactly what I was expecting. Chipping, of course, is a normal occurrence with stoneware, and the pieces must be handled with care. As such, I have had no problems. The pieces also work fine in the microwave with no excessive heating as reported by some reviewers. I have only been using the set for about a month, but almost all of my dishes are stoneware, and I can tell these will be around for awhile. Great set for the price for sure!

Bright, vibrant colors. Perfect for our southwest home. Feel substantial. They have enough weight that they don't feel cheap. We haven't used them long enough to know if they chip, but they don't appear to be any different from other well-made dishes. The dinner plate has a slight lip on it which makes it ideal if there is a meal with gravy. That's a bonus.And they are inexpensive, about $2/item. We liked them so much we ordered two more sets!And they display wonderfully. Really brighten up the china cabinet.Good for everyday use, which is what we have been doing with them.

I love these so much and it makes me happy just looking at them with their bright and lively colors. The color is very vivid, just as in the photos. The mugs are much larger than most of my other mugs, 16 oz., and very comfortable to hold. I had just the bowls from this set that I bought many years ago, so when I was shopping for new dinner plates, I was thrilled to find the whole matching set The bowls have been run through my dishwasher regularly and their color has not faded at all. Also, they have never chipped on the edges like other dishes I've owned. The salad plates are slightly larger than my old plates and I like this size so much better.

This set is beautiful and gives the table a festive atmosphere. I bought these because I was sick of my boring melamine set. These are heavy, handpainted and really look beautiful and festive. I only ordered 1 set because some reviews said they chip or get hot in the microwave. Mine have done neither. I've been careful with them so no chips so far (and if I get a chip big deal). Also they have not gotten hot in the microwave. I wish I had disregarded the negative reviews because I really like them and want a second set but the price went up and now I'm waiting for the price to come down again. Anyway, highly recommend!

The Gibson dinnerware is very durable and stands up in hundreds of dishwasher cycles, as vibrant and glossy as the first time. Colors are fun! Coffee mugs are hearty and hold two cups. Bought two sets of four over a year ago, and just bought another set of four! To me, this dinnerwear is perfect and someday, I know someone will drop a plate, so I like them enough that I bought a set of four just for backup!

I purchased four sets of this dinnerware because of it's vibrant color & because it's microwaveable & dishwasher safe. The set is very beautiful. The colors are bright & cheery. The "mugs" & bowls are huge which is perfect for me. All four sets were packed well & there were no chips or breakage. I received the sets less than 24 hours after ordering which is a first for me. I live in a very remote area & it usually takes a little normal than average for deliveries. Guess I've purchased so much online that the carriers know where to find me! The only downside to this set is that the dinner & salad plates are slightly recessed & not flat. The problem with that is that I find it difficult to cut larger pieces of food because of the recessed bottom. (link of sausage, steak, whole chicken, etc). Other than that & when food products are cut into proper serving size the recessed bottom is a plus because it supports the food portions better than a flat bottom plate. I purchased a set of similarly colored melamine dinner plates to use when cutting large food portions is necessary. The downsize to melamine is that it's not microwaveable while this stoneware/ceramic set is. Overall, I like this dinnerware set & highly recommend it.

Love the dishes, but I can see where people complain about the two levels within the main plate. If I place a 12 ounce ribeye, it will be half way up and half way down into the plate second level.Shipped all the way to Hawaii, and the only issue were two small chips on the bottom of a plate and a cup.Very small, I do not care.Read some people complaining about the bowls been to large. What are they feeding their family! It is a perfect size for soups and asian noodles.I love color and they are gorgeous!THEY WIL BE GOOD TO YOU AS LONG AS YOU TAKE CARE OF THEM!My friends were already jealous when I showed them at the Post Office whereI got them.I hope they last!My second order is coming soon.Well packaged

These dishes are so awesome! They just make you happy looking at them..vibrant colors and fun patterns. They are real clay, not the plastic cheap looking stuff. While they are sturdy and durable, they are also great for everyday use. Dishwasher and microwave safe. The only sort of negative for me personally is that they are a little on the large side for what I am used to; for example, the coffee cup is almost too large to fit in the car cup holder. But they look great as a table setting and hold up very well. Highly recommend.

They really are colourful but are good and solid. I'm going to order another set so I can finally toss out all my mis-matched and chipped dishes that are functional but nothing matched; not that that is a big deal but if I have to have ugly cupboards can't I at least put nice dishes in them?Two Thumbs Up!

I received my order very quickly - thank you. I was really surprised, the colors are very bright and bold - better than the photo. The dishes are very heavy and so far I've used them about 12 times with no issues. Very good quality, love it love it. Will buy another set soon.
