Great for older Panasonic cordless phone
I need a headset to use with my Panasonic cordless phone so that my hands are free. The Panasonic headsets never gave me adequate volume. I found a different brand that had better volume but it was still less than the speakerphone volume. These headsets seemed to be newer and the ad assured that they'd work with all cordless phones using a 2.5 mm jack so I decided to try them. They work great and the volume level is almost too loud. These headsets do not have a mute/volume control on the cord. That difference from all the other headsets may be what made the difference. I recommend them. Also, these are binaural instead of monaural like the former headsets.

Works well.
Mine does not have a volume control or mute button. Sound is louder and better than the one this replaced. Would buy another.

It works well
It was not easy to find a headset, which work s well will a landline phone. This one does. It has a clear sound. both listening and talking. I like it a lot.

Just okay
It's primary use is for walks with my daughter - she drives somewhere, parks and I lead her around the streets for at least 4 miles/day. This is generally around 2-3 hours, with me holding the landline phone to my ear. She has a similar setup with her cell. With that in mind, we've been struggling, especially with the windy days. This does not lessen the noise nor does it seem to cancel the sound of cars passing by. I don't know about volume control - have to try to find out how that work. The sound quality: when having the ear covers in the best position to hear they slip back to where they want to be and the microphone of course has to be adjusted. My daughter is complaining that she cannot hear me as well as when I was holding the landline. It's not a total bust (as I no longer need to hold the phone for 2+ hours, but not working all that well for us.

Won't buy again
Although they are very comfortable and they seem like good quality, I really didn't like how it sounded, like talking in tin can. I had previously bought another model from this company and the sound was great, but sorry to say not this one.
