In my opinion, the dub is superior. It's not super accurate to the manga, but thats what we have the newer one is for, which is also incredible. If you are still unsure about it, let me tell you, Trigun is a western inspired anime that has the funniest hero in all of anime. In the beginning of the show, it's very monster of the week, but as the series continues, it unfolds a conspiracy that encompasses the entire world of Gunsmoke and beyond. The entire show has the theme of Nature vs Nurture. The characters are unforgettable.
