I must be honest in that I have never found the original Birkenstock (Jesus) sandals super attractive...but people have always raved about their comfort. Even so - I couldn't bring myself to buy a pair because I just didn't think they were cute or feminine - and, the few times I had tried some on, I thought they were NOT comfortable and I had no idea what people were talking about. Well, fast forward to about two weeks ago when I was reading a travel blog post about travel capsule wardrobe items and the lady mentioned this style of sandal. She extolled their virtue of being incredibly comfortable, hardy, and feminine enough to wear with just about anything. She also explained how you need to wear your Birkenstock sandals for a few days so that the heat from your feet can mold and shape the foot bed exactly to your foot. Wait, what?! Light bulb!! After taking a long, hard look at sandals she posted, I thought the day had come to try, especially since they looked way cuter (to me) than the original sandals and - if they were versatile enough to go with shorts, skirts, dresses, and pants...then why not? I ordered them and they arrived quickly. The box they came in was crunched seven ways to hell (torn, missing pieces) but the sandals inside the remains of the poor box seemed unscathed. I especially liked the color, which was true to the online photo, and the buckle, which I adjusted to fit my foot. I have rather flat feet so at first, I found the foot bed to be hard and uncomfortable, but I persevered and kept them on...and then - before I knew it - they became incredibly comfortable...AND...they support my flat feet beautifully!! Now? I love everything about these sandals! I am a very (VERY) happy camper - and you will be, too! They are very well constructed and I imagine wearing these amazing shoes for a long, long time. :)

I love these shoes, I buy them over and over, year after year. I have owned at least 10 pairs. They are a life saver for my Plantar Fasciitis. They have a strong arch support. The shoes are well made, I wear them almost every day. If your foot is even slightly narrow, make sure you order in a narrow width, the regular width will be too wide.

Bought from seller ABLATOS USA fulfilled by amazon , the fit was regular, instead I ended up with a narrow. For the seller/amazon transaction , I give them a big -0, I live in another country so returning these is gonna cost me the same as just ordering another pair. I even tried to upload a pic showing my order details, where the regular fit was bought, my review is up but not the pic of the sandals or order details.As for the shoes itself, it’s an original and the quality as is from Birkenstock. don’t know if I’ll sell them or see if they’ll expand as I wear them. It’s black with shiny blue in between, the buckles are gold. I wish the blue was gold, I knew what I was buying not complaining but the gold would of looked better. Just cause of the fit error, I don’t think I’ll be buying Birkenstock from amazon againUpdate: because of the sandals fit, it has become unbearable to wear, it’s not Birkenstock fault, same quality and comfort but my feet are wide and the narrow is too narrow for them, so my feet aren’t placed properly. I’m willing to take my losses and give these to someone else.

At first o questioned the authenticity of these, so I went to Dillard’s and purchased same shoes, but for $20 more. I took photos. On the gizeh from Amazon the t-strap wouldn’t lay flat. I have two other pairs of Gizehs and this isn’t a problem with them. It also isn’t an issue with the pair I purchased at Dillard’s. In the photos, the Dillard’s pair is on the left. The two footbeds are also different. The straps, however, are made of identical faux leather. The strap on the amazon pair just appears to be longer. Anyway, I’m sending them back.

I absolutely love this style shoe, not too bulky like some of the other styles. The sizing chart for Birkenstock is weird though. I ordered 37 and I am a size 7 or 7 and a half (US size) normally. These ones were almost too wide for my feet, I had to put an extra hole in strap. Next time I will order a 37 narrow, and I actually have a size 36 but it's just barely too short for my foot. I really love these shoes though and as someone with falling arches and foot pain it is great to have a sandal I can wear without having to worry about wearing my inserts. They already have built in arch support and metatarsal support! I can walk for hours in these shoes. Love them!

Never thought I'd own a pair of these. No offense everyone...but not exactly fashion forward. However, after wearing them...I could care less. I have a low (not flat) arch and after 20 years of professional dance my knees had begun to ache. The arch support in these literally got rid knee pain. After about one week of wearing them, the soles also became a bit more flexible.There isn't any way to adjust the top strap. So when you purchase, make sure that they are good and snug..because they will relax a bit. I generally wear a size 6 but went down because they were a bit long.Now if only I could wear these in the Minnesota winters....

First of all, I have wanted a pair of these for years and could never justify the price tag from the original source. I was sceptical when I found these on amazon as they are very well reduced from the normal price and wondered if they were fake. I scoured the reviews and couldn't really find any evidence to suggest they are, so hey bonus! The second worry I had was the size. I am a 6.5 but normally have to size up to a 7 as hardly anywhere does half sizes, again after reading all the reviews I took the advice and ordered a 5.5, cursing myself as I did it, expecting them to arrive and have to be sent back straight away. Fast forward to today when they arrive, they are in proper birkenstock packaging, they look and feel very sturdy, the name on the side is nice and clear everything suggests that they are the real McCoy. Next test is trying them on.. and they fit!! Now they say they are a 39 so I guess you could say that they are a 6 rather than a 5.5 but either way, I certainly wouldn't be able to cram feet in to a 6. They feel secure and comfortable enough and as I've read they will get more comfortable over time. So it's a long winded 5 star review, am absolutely made up with my purchase.. well done Amazon

Blinking love these. Love the colours, they will go with loads of things. I’m a uk 3 and bought a 2.5. Regular width and original footbed. Perfect fit. These are the second pair of Birks I’ve bought in a month and I have my eye on another two pairs. Birkenstock convert. Wear them around the house for two weeks to break them in and to mould to your feet, quite lumpy and stiff to begin with.

Have worn gizeh sandals for years. Size 36 fits me perfectly, and I love the snakeskin design on the top. As with all new Birkenstocks, they need 'breaking in' as the sole needs to soften as it starts to mould to your own feet. My older pair are like gloves, so perservere with wearing a new pair indoors for an hour or so at a time, building up until they feel just right. I live in them, spring through to autumn, so highly recommend.

Achtung, bei Lieferung durch Yuhwallo kommt die Ware aus China!Schuh stinkt nach Chemie, Birkoflor ist dünn und knickt an zwei Stellen ein.Der Zehensteg ist aus hartem Plastik. Seltsames Muster und Fußbett passt nicht.Bin ein enttäuschtes Prime-Mitglied.

I've never really been a fan of sandals but these have converted me. they take a short time to 'break in' but when they do they are so comfy.as expected they are very well made and will definatly last a long time. worth noting as i was researching this brand they do come up big, I'm usually a size 8 so tried a 7.5 (41) and they seem about right with toe room to spare.

Ich habe mir 3 Paar dieses Damen-Modells zur Auswahl bestellt, da ich sie bereits in anderen Farben besitze und sie bei längeren Strecken gut meinen Rückenproblemen entgegenwirken.Im Gegensatz zu den anderen beiden Farben (gold und silber metallic) sitzen diese Schlappen hervorragend bei normaler Weite in Grösse 39, und die Riemen sind nicht zu weit.Ich trage bei normal breitem Fuß in Schuhen Gr. 38-39, bei diesem Modell immer Gr. 39 normale Weite. Die schmale Version ist mir zu eng.Jedoch habe ich auch im Geschäft bereits mehrmals festgestellt, dass die Birkenstocks des gleichen Modells je nach Farbe schon mal etwas in der Weite unterschiedlich ausfallen können.Diese Schuhe wurden nicht in einem Originalkarton geliefert, da dieser angeblich defekt war. Mmh, komisch, ein Etikett war auch nicht dran.Bei meinen anderen Schlappen habe ich den Dorn des Riemens immer im letzten Loch, hier genau im mittleren.Ansonsten kann ich absolut keinen Unterschied feststellen.Die Farbe ist Kupfer mit Grau-Silber und recht auffällig.Die Schuhe sitzen super, daher werde ich sie zum Preis von 52€ in meine Sammlung aufnehmen.Das anfängliche Drücken des Zehenstegs aus Kunststoff gibt sich übrigens nach kurzer Einlaufzeit, sobald sich das persönliche Fußbett im Schuh gebildet hat.Falls ich mit meiner Bewertung helfen konnte, freue ich mich über "ein Klick".

Don't order!!! I paid £47 for these all the writing on the side has nearly faded off the foot in print on the soul it's so black it's unwashable. To me their fakes. Also I ordered a size 5 which I am and their too big more like a 5 to a 6

Die Schuhe kamen nicht in einem Schuhkarton von Birkenstock an, wie es sonst eigentlich bei originalen Birkenstocks der Fall ist. Außerdem ist der Schuh sehr schlecht verarbeitet! An jeder Stelle wo Kleber benutzt wurde, sieht man die Klebereste an den Kanten herauskommen. Der Steg für die Zehen ist sehr hart und das Fußbett ist sehr angeraut! Leider werde ich die Schuhe aus diesen Gründen zurückschicken!

I've had several pairs of these, so the fit was as I expected, but I do order the size 4 (37) when normally I take a size 5 (38) Would recommend ordering a size smaller. If you've not had Birkenstocks before, be aware the foot bed takes some getting used to as there are ridges under the toes. I'd say persevere to get used to it and you will have yourself some of the most comfortable shoes.

I have been wearing these shoes for years as I have dodgy feet and need to wear orthotics in my normal shoes. Birkenstocks are a godsend as my feet and knees don't hurt when I wear them. I have 5/6 pairs that I rotate in the summer time, all styles and colours but I particularly like the colour of this pair. I'm fair skinned and don't really tan so this pearlized colour is less harsh than white on VERY fair skin, Everyone admires the colour!!

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,leider war ich mit Ihrer Lieferung absolut unzufrieden!Das erste Problem mit dieser ist, dass die Schuhe in einem offenen Karton ohne jegliches Klebeband ankamen. Jeder konnte die Schuhe rausnehmen!Das zweite Problem ist, dass einer der Schuhe in der Größe 38 ist, während der andere die Größe 39 misst.Als wäre dies alles noch nicht genug, habe ich auch noch zwei linke Schuhe bekommen!All diese offensichtlichen und großen Mängel sind mit Bildern dokumentiert.Ist das die Qualität, welche Sie Ihren Kunden liefern wollen oder ist es eine Ausnahme, dass dieses Paar Schuhe offenkundig von irgendeinem Lastwagen gefallen ist?Ich bin sehr enttäuscht und bitte sie um eine Rückmeldung mit Statement zu diesem Sachverhalt.Mit freundlichen Grüßen

Ich habe die Schuhe in braun Gr. 39 vom Händler SHOES.PLEASE. für 60,11 € bestellt und es handelt sich entweder und Fake oder 3. Wahl - mit Birkenstock-Qualität hat der Schuh nichts zu tun. Der Schriftzug in der Sohle ist komplett schief bedruckt (nein, ich habe das Bild nicht verwackelt!), es sind unsaubere Kleberückstände zu sehen und die Materialien sehen minderwertiger als bei normalen Birnenstocks aus und sind teilweise abgewetzt.

I own a few pairs of Birkenstocks and these shiny snake Ines are my faves! They look even better than they do in the pic! The colours are amazing, I'm SO pleased with mine.

Bought Birkenstock Gizeh graceful toffee which is a bronze/brown. Good fit but need 'breaking in' as toe posts very stiff. This is my first pair of Birkenstock and after having read lots of feedback I understand that they do take a couple of weeks to feel blissfully comfortable and wearing them a hour a day is the only way to do it.Pleased to feel the support of the cork foot bed as I have plantar fasciitis and this style feels that is will give me the support and comfort I need. The added benefit is that the strap also supports your foot and it does not 'flip flop'.Good price and very quick delivery. Watch out for sizing as I clicked 5 - 5 1/2 and noticed on the review order that it would be a size 40. Changed it to a 39 and to be honest I think a 38 would have fit just as well. Normally a 5 1/2 in Hotter shoes. The box lid has a good size/ width chart on it, so if ordering again I would order 38 classic fit.

They are my favorite shoes.Very comfortable and my feet loves them.Mondo size gives you a very accurate lengthwise fit. If you have wide feet you might want to go up 1/2-1 size.A good way to measure your feet is to place the heel of your longest foot against a wall and measure the length(Millimeters or centimeters). Now you have the mondo size which can easily me converted to US, UK or EU size.
