Best baby gate ever!
The Regalo 194-Inch Super Wide Adjustable Baby Gate and Play Yard is a lifesaver for creating a large, safe space. The panels are sturdy, easy to connect, and stay securely in place once set up. I love that it works both as an extra-wide gate and a play yard — super versatile depending on the room. The swing gate section opens smoothly, and the whole setup feels stable without wobbling. The black finish looks sleek and blends in nicely with modern décor. Overall, a great solution if you need a wide barrier or a contained play area.

Gate is awesome and big. Gate latch not intuitive but it works.
HUGE. The price is so much better than many other brands and you can reduce the number of panels you use. I’m not going to lie. The gate latch leaves a lot to be desired. It’s not intuitive. But I am giving 5 stars anyway because you cannot beat the price and its heavy duty.

Great Gate
This has been a great investment. We’ve separated our living room area to keep our toddler in. It helps to keep our dog out, when needed, as well. We had a very wide area and this gate has proven to be sturdy, of good quality, and fit the spot well. It was not difficult to install, but two of us did it together.

Satisfied
I have had this over a year. I’ve used it indoor for toddler and outdoors for a puppy. It has been rained on and not rusted. Good length for the price. Metal is sturdy. The joints are just ok. The threading loosens when threaded to tight and needs to be retighten once in awhile. Overall it works well but I would recommend an upgrade on the jointed parts. I have another play yard for 16 yrs and whose jointed parts look the same but are more sturdy.

Wish I bought this before the classic baby gates
I absolutely love this product so far; it is so versatile! It is modular and easy to dissassemble/reassemble. I originally bought the Regalo pressure baby gates to fence my Basset hound pup in the kitchen while he was housetraining, and those worked well also, but the setup just wasn't working for him, as he had too much room to have accidents in. I decided to buy this and place it in an arc shape around the balcony pet door (Ideal Pet Products). The pictures I am posting are of this setup, where he has not only lots of room to move around in and luxury sleep quarters and access to food and water, but also free access to the balcony (which has the DoggieLawn/FreshPatch grass)... so I never have to worry about accidents when he is fenced in, or him having to hold it in too long. The housetraining is going great this week, and I can credit this gate for a lot of it! Before I bought this, he was in a temporary enclosure made by furniture penning him in, and he had no room to move and escaped, wreaking havoc in my apartment all day while I was away (and leaving me several gifts on the carpet!). This was an absolute lifesaver when it came. I took off 2 of the 2 foot long panels and use them outside as part of the enclosure around his grass, and the enclosure is still large enough for him to be comfortable. As others have mentioned, the gate panels themselves are sturdy metal, but the joints are plastic and can break if forced the wrong way. Does not bother me, given the price and the fact that I have a puppy, not a strong toddler or large dog. If you want a higher end comparable gate, there are others available on Amazon (try the North Gates superyard) for almost twice as much, which I've heard are more durable with metal joints, but for my purposes, this is a temporary setup. Your puppy or baby will not need this forever, hopefully, can you justify paying $100 more for it? It's up to you, if you have a strong animal/child you want to keep fenced in, but I don't need all that, and this is perfect for me. This has no pressure gate option, and I do not want to drill into the walls, so I just keep one end pinned down by furniture, and the other end connected by zip tie to the counterpart on the balcony, and I've had no escapes thus far. Puppy has not tried to knock down the gate, but even if he did, I don't have a German Shepherd, and I think it can handle his weight for now, even "partially free standing", as it is now. I use the Cloud Baby Monitor app (iPhone download) to monitor him while I am at work, and he is great, very quiet, seems content in his new home (the last is a screenshot picture from my phone on this monitor). This setup has basically saved me so many headaches from keeping a housetraining puppy while working full time.... highly recommend it to anyone. When he gets bigger, the modular nature of the panels will allow me to enlarge his area, maybe enclose off the entire dining room area, when I use it as a straight gate, instead of an arc. BTW, I was NOT offered a free or reduced price on this product, so you know my review is ACTUALLY unbiased.

This Gate Set May Well Save My Father's Dog's Life.....
My 88 yr old father just moved in with me ... and with Dad came his 50lb dog. Now, I live in an apartment and I have 2 cats and I a granddaughter. This dog has, shall we say, minimal training and she's been known to nip when she feels threatened. So I kinda have my hands full with this dog. Sadly my father and step mom adopted this dog and she would have been a project for a seasoned dog trainer.... they were definitely in over their heads with her as they are NOT dog trainers. She has always been wary of strangers and nips at their legs/etc if they turn their back on her.... bad enough with a grown adult, but if she does this with my Granddaughter or her friends, we're going to have trouble. She has almost no exposure to kids so that alone is a pretty big challenge. On top of that she's got a chase urge and hasn't been around cats in about 8 years. One of my cats is a real "scaredy cat" who hides if you look at him sideways just to complicate matters. I have a lot of work ahead of me. When I knew I was going to have to take her on along with my father, I started researching gate options. I need something that will hold her in (thankfully she doesn't test these things though!), while allowing my father to get through with minimal struggle. His mobility is pretty compromised (he uses a Rollator) and he's a fall risk so he has to be able to get through easily. I realized I likely needed more than one gate. And I realized that until the dog was here, I really wasn't sure exactly how it would work out. When I saw this gate/yard, I knew it was my answer to my problems. I have tons of options with this so as things (hopefully) change I can alter how we set this up. After trying multiple configurations I ended up with 4 panels at one end of the long living room to lock the dog in both when we go out (she will crap if left in a large enough space) as well as a place to put her if we have company to keep them safe while she's learning her manners. We have 3 more panels at the other end of the room to keep her in with us most of the time while allowing the cats a safe space where they can get to their litter and food. (It's ended up also being great for keeping one of my cats from escaping through my sliding door when I'm Bar-B-Quing!) The only thing I haven't used is the actual gate because my father's Rollator won't go through it, but that's ok - it may come in handy in the future. We will be moving to a house soon, so I love that I can take this with us and adapt it to the new space. Dealing with the issue of this dog has probably caused me more stress than any other part of the move... or at least it's right up there with the more stressful parts, because I'm realistic that if she so much as nips at one of my Granddaughter's friends or even an adult that she could well be impounded and even put down. The burden of this feels bigger than the "burden" of dealing with my ailing father. So I'm really relieved that we have this in place now. It's working great! She's already learning to not chase the braver cat who comes and goes through the gap we left so he could get to the Living Room. She also seems to be ok with staying in the smaller space when we go out. I honestly couldn't have chosen a better option for my needs. This thing is quite sturdy yet light for such a big set. There are seriously sooo many ways you can configure this thing depending on your needs. And the price, for a gate with 8 panels, is amazing. I was getting quite discouraged when I started researching for a gate because I really didn't know exactly how I would set things up and I didn't want to have to buy 4 different gates (or more) to figure out what would work. So if you have any kind of situation where you need to separate groups of animals easily and quickly, this is your gate. If you have an awkward shaped space to cordon off, this is your gate. If you are traveling and need to have a movable pen, this is your gate. If you have someone who can't get through the standard gate that most of these things have, this is your gate. I'm going to upload photos in the next day or so to show how we have this set up for our current situation. Although I'm a reviewer here I purchased this item at full retail price as a PERSONAL purchase and am reviewing this because I want to. I have not been asked to write a review and I have no personal connection with the seller. As usual my opinions and experiences are a real and true reflection of my experience with the product. I hope my review helps you in your purchase decisions!

Do NOT recommend for small dogs, very weak
I hardly ever write reviews, so something has to go really great or really bad for me to give my input online. So I moved into a new house with my aging father recently and brought my 5 chihuahuas and I didn't want them roaming the whole house, so I needed a long gate to keep them contained to one half of my office for the most part. I thought this gate would work and went over the measurements and thought everything would fit. It arrived on time and, upon first seeing it in person, I started to become worried that my smallest dog, weighing in at 3.2lbs, could maybe squeeze through. I held her and tried to gently see if she could pass through and I didn't think that she could. When we got into the new house, I opened the box back up and setup was fairly easy and I was confident that this would work. It fit very nicely in the space I had measured out. I put all 5 dogs in, and yes, the smallest one came straight through. Now, by the time I moved into the new house, the return window had passed and even if it hadn't, I didn't want to have to box it back up and ship it back out. So, I decided to try and make modifications to keep my smallest in. I got mesh netting and zip tied it all the way across. This did work... until they chewed through it. By this time, one of my larger dogs, 9lbs, found she was able to squeeze through as well (How? I don't know but she managed somehow). So I figured the fabric mesh wasn't strong enough, so I thought maybe chicken wire but i didn't want sharp edges for my dogs and nieces to cut themselves on, so I got a thick plastic mesh and tried that. Again, they chewed straight through it (They may be small, but they are power chewers). While searching for an alternative, I barricaded the gate with boxes to try and keep them in. They still found ways out by pushing the boxes or jumping onto the boxes. I stacked the boxes higher and one was still managing to get out. Around this time they were trying harder and harder every day to get out, so much so that, with the short screws this gate comes with to mount it to the wall, they were able to pull it out of the wall while it was screwed into the stud. Also, the poles that connect the panels, they are very flimsy and fall down even when screwed in properly upon setup. I would regularly come home and find the connector poles completely unattached and on the floor. My dogs are all chihuahuas and under 15lbs. If they can knock the connecting poles down and pull the connection from the wall, I wouldn't just not trust it around small dogs, but larger dogs or children of any age either. A large dog or child would have NO problem messing and pushing on it enough for the gate to crumble. As if this wasn't enough, the gate locks at the top and has little pegs that swivel out at the bottom to "lock" it in place. I HATE having to bend over and swivel that piece up and down just to open or close the gate. Save yourself the stress and get the pet gates from FXW here on Amazon. MUCH better quality, easier setup, much more sturdy, the locking mechanism is easy but firmly locks the door, top and bottom, and the connections between panels are very strong. Best thing, not one of my dogs has ever gotten out of it, not even the smallest.

Baby Gate
After trying several baby gates that simply didn’t hold up in wide or uniquely shaped areas, the Regalo 194-Inch Super Wide Adjustable Gate has been the most dependable option I’ve found. It combines strength, versatility, and safety in a way that truly stands out. Ease of Opening: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ The gate’s walk-through door opens smoothly and can be operated with one hand once you get the hang of it. The latch mechanism is secure but not overly complicated, which is ideal when you're carrying a child or laundry. Stability: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This gate is impressively stable—even when fully extended. The panels lock firmly into place, and the included wall mounting hardware makes the entire system feel sturdy and anchored. There’s no wobbling even with toddlers leaning or pushing on it. Sturdiness: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The metal frame feels durable and well-constructed. Unlike cheaper plastic gates, this one can withstand daily use and pressure from kids and pets without bending or warping. It’s built to last and holds up extremely well over time. Security: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This gate scores high in overall safety. The locking mechanism is child-resistant, the hardware mounts offer strong reinforcement, and the height prevents little ones from attempting to climb over. It provides a secure barrier that gives real peace of mind. Instructions: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ The instructions are clear, with diagrams that make assembly straightforward. While there are a few configuration options depending on your space, the manual explains them well. It may take a moment to understand how the extensions connect, but nothing overwhelming. Ease of Installation: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Installation is manageable even for one person, though having a second set of hands makes the process smoother. The gate adjusts beautifully to unusual layouts—wide rooms, angled walls, or as a play yard. Mounting to the wall is simple, and all hardware is included.
