Purina ONE SmartBlend Lamb & Rice Formula Adult Premium Dog Food 40 lb. Bag

My dog, a standard poodle almost 7 years old, has been a customer of the Lamb and Rice Formula since he was able to transition to dry food. His weight is as it should be for a large dog that is active. Despite my best efforts to discourage her, my cat leaves her bowl filled ith top of the line Purina Cat Food right beside the dog food for weeks at a time. The poodle is very generous with his Lamb and Rice, so, since he and the cat are such good friends, he will step away from his bowl of food to allow the cat uninterrupted time to savor each nugget and relish every moment of a good meal. Of course, the cat and dog, aside from their friendship, have a symbiotic relatonship as well. Since the dog is not nearly the foodie the cat is, the dog depends on the cat to alert me or anyone else around that the food supply in their bowl is critically low.The cat would never be so crass as to demand food for herself. Instead, I believe the conversation between the cat and dog goes something like this with the cat leading off: "I say, my friend, I'm still feeling a bit peckish and our serving bowl is almost empty. Shall I summon the kitchen help for another bowl of the entree?" The dog: "Did you see that, did ya? Hey, look at that squirrel! Sorry, how rude of me, what were you saying? Hold on a second, I think the lady in the electric wheelchair just dropped a Quarter Pounder With Cheese right in front of the house! And, Hubba Hubba, the next door neighbor's Golden Lab just got back from grooming and she is looking 'Mighty Fine!' Bruno the Bulldog down the street tells me she hasn't been spayed yet and is hot to trot! Oh, oh, yes, please request more Lamb & Rice. I'm going to need some extra energy today and keep my coat glistening after I snag the Quarter Pounder with Cheese then climb the fence over at Good Time Goldie's house."

I have big dogs and they like this food. Lamb and rice works the best and I don’t end up with gigantic poo because they digest it well

Not certain if this is a freshness issue, but as soon as bag was opened, small moths flew out and about. Not long thereafter, small worms began to crawl out. Obviously, I won't feed this to our dogs.

Go to grocery & save $25 dollars. Don’t be lazy like me!

I have fed my dog Purina One his whole life. He loves it.

I like this product very much. My dogs don't eat that fast. So I don't need orders automatically filled. I will order again when I need more dog food. Thank you very much!
