I take any generic med I can, but didn’t realize until recently this was available OTC. My body has made it clear this was a bad idea. I’m disappointed because I love saving money on medication. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just as effective as name brand *by G***5 on June 27, 2018* I tried the Publix generic brand for Nexium a few months ago and to my surprise, it wasn't as effective as the name brand. With Nexium name brand I can usually go 2 or 3 days before needing another dose. With the Publix generic I found I needed daily doses, so I was hesitant to try this generic brand. I've been using this for about a month now and can tell no difference between this and the Nexium. Would give it 5 stars, but I still feel it's on the pricey side for a generic.
