It works better than I expected

After squeezing the circle a little to adjust so it’s slightly smaller than the ball circumference this baby worked great! The ball stays put but is easy to remove, ridiculously easier than the suction cup and claw styles. I also use it to bring the shaft of a club up if I have wedge and putter around the green, no bending! Now if only they would invent a no-bending over tee off tool that works! One thing though, my halo kept getting yanked off when I pulled it out. I eventually figured out that the golf cart straps i put on my bag were squeezing the bag and narrowing the opening of my putter slot. Just had to put the straps higher to a rigid section. No problems since!

Works on all my putters and takes seconds to transfer to a putter! Never can never wear out! It is very sturdy! I love it.

I've had the pickup tool since 9/9/19. Played at least 36 holes per week since. The other reviews made me wonder if it was a good idea to get without the putter holder. Be at ease. I put a ball in the pickup tool and have never pulled the tool out of the putter grip. The ball prevents getting stuck on other clubs. The ball only fell out once, and was easily retrieved from the bag by the tool. The only other thing to do is just be a little careful removing putter from your bag. Oh, and BTW, don't yank on it. It won't come out of the grip, it sticks very well. Not difficult to use at all. And very satisfying.Also, I have had none of the corrosion people have mentioned. Many friends have bought tools too, and nobody has had an issue.I would certainly by another for myself, and have bought for gifts.

I bought a similar product years ago and got three of these for $6. Advertising shows three of these so thought that inflation strikes. When I received package there is ONLY 1 item NOT 3. Very misleading sales pitch. Item works well.
