2024 EDIT
A friend of mine read my review and told me I had given only 3 stars, so I feel as if I need to update and change to 5 stars. I teach about 230-280 classes a year at the Y and this mic is still going strong after 4 years. I couldn’t possibly ask for more. I’ve kept the wording of my original review as written, because there really wasn’t anything to change. I did solve the “drooping” mic by wrapping the extended part with wire, so it always stays in place, but that doesn’t change the fact that “as is” you may have a problem with it falling a little. It still works better on the stereos that accept the larger size Jack than the smaller. But 4 years of good service for this price? 5 stars all the way. I use this mic when teaching Les Mills Bodypump classes at some local YMCAs. At one Y, the receiver part plugs directly into the stereo mic jack and the sound is EXCELLENT. At the other Y the receiver piece plugs into a wireless unit that is meant for another type of mic and the sound is not very good. So, the key thing to know here is that the sound may vary depending on your setup. The main reason I purchased it is that the transmitter is in the mic itself; I hate the wireless mics that have clip on transmitters that you wear at your waist. The headset fits well and can be bent to adjust to your head size. Several of us use this type of mic and some of my friends have had to use rubber bands to adjust for head size and those work well also. My only real complaint (and some of my friends have the same issue) is that the wire attaching the mic to the headset is not very stiff; the mic often falls below my chin and I have to readjust. That’s kind of a big deal, hence my rating of only 3 stars, but I still prefer this to any mic with a separate wearable transmitter. Other observations: Charging is easy and it always lasts through my hour long class (but I’ve never tested how long it will run on a charge). The case is excellent. I’ve never had an issue syncing the receiver and headset. I teach about 60 feet from the stereo and the connection is perfect.

I’ve had it three years
I have had this microphone for three years I use this to teach Pilates and Yoga. I once used to teach 150 in a large gymnasium and the sound was amazing. I recommended to others. Yes the headset requires a little finagling but so do others and it’s easy to remedy. I would say mine holds a charge about three hours. Just peaked in to see if they were still making this. I’m going to purchase another one because I am beginning to lose a little bit of charge length but …it’s three years old, and I have put it through the wringer. Just don’t want to get stuck without one if it goes belly up. So I will use the new one and keep this one as a backup. Highly recommend . Love, love, love the case it comes in.

It’s the best I’ve found. Not perfect but still the best!
This is the longest lasting wireless fitness mic I’ve found. I teach multiple high intensity classes each week. That said, it is a bit bulky and be sure you wipe it down thoroughly after use. I also strongly recommend purchasing 3-year warranty. It’s only $7.99 and when my headset broke after 18 months, the warranty resulted in me getting a full refund. I purchased another one in its place. I have to put hair ties across the headset to keep it in place and the mic doesn’t stay in place during high impact classes but the mic has worked longer than anything else I’ve tried (and I’ve tried a LOT). Buy the mic, buy the extended warranty, and rest easy.

Could be better.
It’s a great mic, but it’s difficult to connect the parts together. I’ve used it three times and it’s beginning to fray. I’m very dissatisfied with the material quality, but the sound is awesome.

Easy to use, water resistant, holds charge 3 hours at least
I bought this to replace an older model. Love it! Holds a charge for 3 hour fitness classes. Charges super easy with wall cord. It’s light on the headset. I used the AV extension for a large speaker (in the guitar input that comes with it) as well as hooked it up Bluetooth style for my music at the same time. I love not having a cord when using this. It’s water resistant and used on the pool as well. Our last one was plugged in the wall the whole time we weren’t using it-we think it was just plugged in too long. So we only plug this to recharge and once done, unplug. These are the best fit the price that I’ve seen. Comes in a great carrying case too!

Still, A Tour Conductor's best friend
I am a Boston Tour Conductor who drives a trolley while presenting a narrated history tour. Our company only provides headsets featuring a wire that runs from the headset to a mic jack. So, in effect, we are tethered to that wire and the jack. Not the best when a bit of mobility is needed, as is the case when we are welcoming Guests, loading baby carriages, etc. I recently purchased this KIMAFUN wireless headset, and it provides superb sound and MAXIMUM mobility. I am now free to get up out of my seat, walk around within and without the trolley, all the while maintaining contact with my Guests. The headset is lightweight, and the setup is simple, with all proper wiring provided with the purchase. NOTE: I've discovered that by delicately bending the lightweight metal "brace" that holds the microphone receiver and also fits around one's head, I can gain just a bit more snugness that limits most movement of the headset when I'm gesturing or, go figure, riding over one of Boston's many (too many?!) bumpy streets. Update after two years of use: the knob where the headset hooks on to...broke apart. But, hey, that's after two years of constant use, and it's only made of plastic. Though I "fixed" it by taping the metal headset to the "base," I cannot put the now one-piece headset back into the case. Not a major issue. The most important update: I've never experienced ANY sound issues with the product.

Don’t Bother
Terrible! I purchased this in May of 2026. It just stopped working the beginning of September. Just stopped, in the middle of a class I was teaching. I made sure it was charged, checked connections, etc. Even tried different speakers, to make sure they weren’t the issue. Nothing worked. I only used it a few times a week, and always carefully returned it to its case. It did work great…..until it didn’t.

Too Good to Be True
This microphone is amazing for the price. I teach fitness classes and own a $300 Samson Airline with headset transmitter. In some ways this mic is better! The very small, battery charged receiver goes directly into a mic in amplification system. Your don't have to have a bulky microphone receiver which needs it's own power source. The sound quality is good. On the negative side, the headset transmitter is a bit big. Also, since it does not take disposable batteries, you have to remember to turn it off and keep it charged. However, over all, with less than a month's use, I think it is an incredible value! Time will tell. January, 2021: I am still quite happy with this mic. I'm now using it to teach pool classes outside in Florida. The participants say they can hear me well. Due to the pandemic and studio closures I would estimate that I have used this mic three times a week for about eight months and it is still going strong!

Moyennement satisfaite
