I have used the tool several times and am very pleased with it. It feels solid and well built, the variable speed is useful, and it is easy to use. The wire brushes and cutting discs do wear down quickly but that is to be expected from such small and thin material. Overall very pleased.

This Draper tool is very good quality and so easy to use great addition to my work shed.

Used the brass wire brush attachment to clean paint off the locks and hinges after decorating. I know I should have masked up! Brass wire brush worked well for a while then started shedding the wires very quickly.. quality not so good.. as the hinges etc are bronze I can’t use anything stronger. Pity as it works well.Got to try and find some quality brushes now.

There is not a minus star option. I bought one and followed the instructions, the battery just kept dying after about 2 minutes so I sent back and got another, exactly the same. This is such a poor tool. Have now gone a bit more expensive with a dremmel. Excellent piece of kit compared to this utter waste of money.

Great quality and very handy for crafting

I like the drill - it's a bit chunkier than the corded Draper it's replaced but still comfortable in the hand. But firstly, although it comes with a range of accessories this doesn't include sanding drums and sandpaper cylinders, the supplied bits seem more focused on cutting and engraving/routing. So if you don't already have these allow for buying them later. My bigger criticism however is the supplied case which seems tohave been designed to appeal at point of sale rather than for practical day-to-day use as I've not foiund a way to add storage for extra bits etc. The case that came with my old corded Draper tool allowed for this.But overall I'm happy with the tool and accessories and it is very well priced in comparison to the obvious competition.UPDATE. Down graded from four stars to two stars. The machine was fine for a little light sanding but I've now used it twice for cutting and it's been useless. The first time was with a cutting disc into a computer hard drive - I wanted to physically damage it to make it unreadable before disposal - and it just kept cutting out although it still seemed to have plenty of charge (all three lights were lit). Today fully recharged it refused to cut into a piece of plastic! - an old plastic airtight food storage box, probably less than 2mm thick. It just kept cutting out, I'd restart it and as soon as it touched the plastic it would stall. Repeat until you give up and use a hand saw. My old mains model did everything i asked of it and I had high hopes of this but, in my experience, if you want to use it for anything more than a little light modelling look elsewhere. An expensive mistake.
