Melt in your mouth goodness, I challenge you (if you like delicate lemony treats) to try these and NOT to become ADDICTED. I try to alwways have these in my cupboard when friends and family visit, so far not ONE person has resisted these treats (frankly no one I have offered them to has been able to resist them - they also make a great gift for holidays or birthdays in the nice tin they come in - I prefer to buy em in bulk so I get 4 times the amount. Still pricey but a savings compared to the cost of 4 tins. If in doubt try a tin first, I cant imagine you will be dissatisfied. I havent given them to anyone yet who is! Lemon flavor isnt overpowering or "fake" tasting, just a PERFECT treat. I LOVE cheese straws but the lemon ones are mant times better than ANYONE'S cheese straws! Warning: Order and get ready for a new addiction! They aren't cheap but they do not taste cheaply made either; these are a winner and being gluten-free (a typical worry at least for me when I am buying for family members) so snap 'em up! My all time FAVORITE treat (and definitely on my short list of what I would want with me if stranded on a deserted island!

Base cookie is good, light and with good lemon flavor. However, cookies are smothered with very heavy layer of powdered sugar. Making an expensive, not so great cookie.

These lemon straws were good, but we would have liked them more if they had had a stronger lemon flavor. The texture was very nice. They were very good with tea.

Excellent! Much better than I expected. Shame that this "bulk" deal is not that easy to get.

These lemon straws are delectable and hard to resist. There is a shortbread texture with tart lemon flavor and a bit of powdered sugar making a treat that melts in your mouth.
