B.P.R.D: Plague of Frogs Volume 4

Simply stunning
Well... where to begin, and where to end... This volume is simply a master piece, and its the point of the story where all the pieces of the puzzle come together. All the visions that Liz have finally start to make sense and we get to understand here role in the "frog war". New enemies emerge, and some old ones leading them, and some things are just not the way they appear...Ofcose it would be a nonsense for me to talk about the team of artist, which has proven in the previous volumes as the perfect combination. Their collaboration on this volume is even better, the story gets epic, the art is great and the color has the right touch of what you expect a dark supernatural story to look like.

Unexpected Wear and Tear
A bit beat up, the cover and binding have a bit of damage to them. Maybe it’s from the shipping, but I still expected less wear and tear from a “new” product. Still smells new though, so it’s got that going for it.

Great books, great series
The BPRD Plague of Frog books are incredible! Every volume is packed full of excellent art, characters you care about, stories that can make you feel giddy or bum you out to no end. The books are incredibly high quality from the page thickness to the binding, these are going to stand the test of time (or multiple people reading them a few times a piece). Big props to Dark Horse for making these books so high quality and affordable. Thank you!

It's good.
B.P.R.D. the spin-off of Hellboy that has a hell of a lot more plot and story progress. I'm a big, biased fan of the hellboy verse but this collection is probably the best of the hardcover big omnibus's released from this series with only Volume 1 being as good. Not that the other hard cover omnibuses are bad in anyway, but this volume and volume 1 are both complete stories with a beginning, middle and end, and unlike volume one there are no side stories sprinkled throughout to confuse the focus of the story.

Another home run from Mignola and Dark Horse!
Excellent continuation of one of my favorite series. If you're a fan of comic books and/or graphic novels do yourself a favor and give BPRD a shot, especially if you dig horror. I recommend starting at the beginning, but you could certainly pick up the story from here if you really wanted to. As far as the quality of the book itself I have no complaints. Well bound with quality full color pages. I say go for it!

BPRD is the best.
I love BPRD. The stories are creepy, but not overdone. The art is always something beautiful to look at. This collection is so much better than trying to read it from single comic books (Which is what I've been doing for years. I just found out about this format last month.)It's a bit heavy, so have a good bed or desk to lay the book one while you read it.

Book was the excellent but the binding terrible
Book was the excellent but the binding terrible. I ordered two copies. Both times I received the book the binding was already broken. I don't know if its a manufacturing defect of just bad shipping. I have had problems in the past with amazons packing and receiving damages books. Anyways great story just maybe go for the paperback with this one.

Arrived heavily worn.
This bring sold as "new" is scandalous. The cover was dirty and badly scuffed on arrival. The edges of the pages are dirty and the first page is stained. The bulk of the pages look fine though.

Can wait for more!!!
This wraps up the Scorched Earth trilogy and the larger Plague of Frogs storyline. There's really too much to talk about to do this justice, but I liked the way the story wrapped up--by which I mean I hated what happened to Liz even though it was necessary and right. I'd like to see more of Panya in future volumes. I want Johann to man up and get over the loss of his body. And I want desperately to know what Liz is going to do with her life now.

Great book, wonderful format
Initially, I was disappointed that the BPRD-collections didn't conform to the great Hellboy Library Edition-series. That disappointment was short-lived. These books are gorgeous and of high quality, giving BPRD the format it deserves, and making the reading comfortable and enjoyable. Glad they're not thicker!
