iCracked iPhone 6 Plus Screen Replacement Kit (White)

Haven't dropped my phone yet and I bought an otter box too so I know it wasn't caused by bumping of dropping. I can see the LCD light through the glass which means it was a manufacturing problem. (see video and picture). For this price this should NOT be happening!! Warranty is void after having removed the protection stickers, even though of course issues are only going to occur after normal use if it was badly made. Very clever. Don't waste your money with this brand. I've bought iFixit screens and they were much much better than this (they're not compensating me to write this, I'm just stating my opinion based on my experiences with each).OLD REVIEW: Crisp color, great resolution, I forgot how beautiful everything looks without a crappy screen ' This screen is perfection. I received this kit in the mail today and it took just over an hour to install. The kit itself is pretty nice and the instructions are easy to follow. The new screen also comes with a preinstalled tempered glass screen protector. The screen itself I would rate as midgrade quality at best. Whites are very very blue, blacks are gray much like a dollar store television. It's very faint, but you can see lines in a few spots on the display. I'll attatch a photo. I've done a lot screen repairs over the years and this is pretty typical. I gave 3 stars because it is super convenient (arrived in 24 hours), and very user friendly. If you are not experienced I would recommend you spend the extra money for a kit that comes fully assembled with home screen and front camera.

For the price point (129$ At the time of purchase), I expected an oem quality screen. I received something less. The upper left corner (2"x2") of the screen is dark, the home key ribbon extension was broken, the Phillips screw driver was junk and the thumb print scan no longer works. All that aside, the replacement instructions are well thought out consice and clear. The shipping and packaging was top notch. It seems like the components, front facing camera, home button and everything else would have come pre installed on the new screen. Making the price more justifiable, and the job easier. Be gentle on the disassembly, you may need to transfer more of you oem parts to replace Icracked's defective ones

There was only one good thing about this product and it was its packaging.Item was delivered the same day I ordered and it was well packaged and you can recycle your screen for free.Cons:1. The tools they included aren't anything special.Your screen is already cracked so the suction cup most likely won't work. The cloth to clean your screen is cheap material, my shirt does a better job. Screwdriver tips aren't magnetic so its difficult to get the screws where they belong (luckily I had a magnet and magnetized my screw tips a bit).2. Edges of the screen stick out of your phone. Someone commented that the screen sits flush with your phone and it does not! This was the main reason I decided to pay extra for this screen and unfortunetely it doesn't.3. Just another after-market screen. This is not a "high quality" screen like stated. It is just another $25.00 USD screen you can find anywhere on Amazon. I can see the pixels at times, specially at night when my phone is in night mode (dimmed yellow).Buy somewhere else or pay Apple $120.00 without the hassle and worry and get an Original Equiptment Manufacture screen.

This is a lot harder than it seems. I had to replace my phone after the fix failed, when the cracked screen had been usable. Now I am out 900 bucks on a new phone plus the cost of this case and 1.5 of my time and frustration. I should have known when they said to get out the blowdryer!I am a computer engineer, so this wasn't a competence thing, the fix is just extremely delicate and one mistake can ruin the phone for good. I would guess that I could successfully complete this after a couple of tries 9/10 times, but the risk just isn't worth it to me.

This replacement screen seems to work OK; but it has no where near the color range and color brightness the original screen has.All other aspects are great. It is easy to replace with this kit, all parts needed are there, it is bright and clear and easy to read; just looks washed out in the colors.That said; if you have broke your screen and just want to get it going again, this is a good choice.Also, if I had not just been using my original screen, I would not have even noticed the difference. It was only because I was looking for it after the screen change (as I had read replacements are not OEM LCD's I was looking for any specific differences).

The kit is good but it is not as easy as shown on the video description. The glued parts that have to be removed are fragile and cannot stand the heat produced by the heat gun used to loosen the glue. The heat basically melts the hairy wires which breaks apart. Once the wire breaks, you need to change the entire assembly which is not available for sale in the US stores. The customer service was not helpful. Luckily, the assembly part was available from online stores from China, cost a few dollars plus shipping, and worked well. My iPhone is working solid since then.

My iPhone 6 Plus had been cracked for months and I've been regularly researching for the best screen for the right price. All other screens ONLY included the screen replacement. This kit comes in a beautiful package with not only the tools, but a step by step guide with pictures and notes, cleaning stickers, a nice iCracked sticker and a carrying pouch for everything for ALEAST $40 cheaper than other companies!! Most kits are sent from china and take almost 2-4 weeks to arrive, but with the company offering Prime 2-Day Shipping I actually received it in 1 business day! I will definitely recommend this product to anyone who needs to replace a screen on a device!
