Sluice Fox Gold Panning Supplies Kit with Sluice Box

Did not come with all the items listed ,Instead it has substitutions like extra flashlight , A bonus junk gold pan,Now I have to wait for the items it did not ship with that I purchased from another source seperatly so I wont have this Substitution problem and actuly receive what I ordered.

The most important tool came broken. The rest of the set was great.**added a star back bc they sent me a new piece***

The getting the ruffles off is near impossible without cutting them or making the hole bigger with a flathead screwdriver. The flare doesn’t go up onto the sluice box all the way but if you put tape on the seam if improves the water flow. The classifier works fine(the thing with the holes) but get green pans because the black one won’t allow to see black sand, which is where I find most of my gold. The shovel is good. The sniffer bottle take a little bit of practice but it’s not hard at all to figure out. The magnifying tweezers are great for fine gold that doesn’t want to go up the sniffer bottle. Overall it’s good for the price but a metal one would be better. I would recommend Keene, Gold hog, etc. DO YOUR RESEARCH cause gold is very tricky depending on where you live.

First off, I ordered a green set, but a black set arrived instead. Nonetheless i forged on, only to notice it doesnt even work. I ran dirt with gold I placed in it to test. It didnt catch any of it. Yes I had it set up correctly....only thing that worked were the classifiers.**update: customer service followed up about incorrect color.The sluce does work good! Especially for the price. The pans and classifiers also work well. Pans do need a lot of seasoning. Very happy with the overall product!

This set seems to be great, everything you need for first time panning. I bought this intending to take my sons out to the creek to try but, we’ve had heavy rains and the water is too high. I can’t wait to share this experience with the boys. I know they are going to have a great time.

After recently purchasing this kit, I went to the field and started using it. The larger classifier busted after just two uses (see photos) and I was thoroughly disappointed. I contacted the seller and was happily surprised when they sent a brand new one to replace it! Thank you so much for your great customer service, it is truly appreciated. I have had no issues with the other items in this kit and have been successful with the pans and sluice.

Didn't find any gold....the miners moss is hard to snap out of the plastic slits...and if you don't have a rock supporting the front opening it keeps falling off into the creek and floats down stream...so probably have to take it or glue it....unless you support it with a rock which makes getting the angle right for the flow of water.....once it's set up it probably will catch gold....im in Alaska but still very far from the Yukon area.....my town doesn't have any history of gold at least not on our island....Juneau is a different story....

Sluice works, extra gold pans are good but the dirt sifters mesh is small 1/2 in and 1/8 in would be more user friendly but ot works.
