Just got received the mulch kit today. I also tried it out today, It worked great and the part for the old Coleman mower as described.I will decently get another one for a replacement part down the line of ever needed.

Turns my 30 inch rider into a full mulcher

I prefer mulching my grass and this attachment makes that happen. As a side-effect, I can now move my mower to the back yard without having to remove the attachment. The old side-discharge was too wide for my gate but this one fits through without removing it.

Quick and easy to replace our old one and put on the new one. No hardware included (in case you lost any) but the replacement has been sturdy and exactly what I needed. Our old one broke and the mower would not run when it fell off. Now we are back in action!

After shredding two old car license plates that I used to make my own mulching plug for an ancient craftsman riding mower, I decided to purchase this on Amazon. It does not precisely fit, but it does the job better than what I made up. The plastic is very thick, and very tough. No problem from the gravel I occasionally pick up from the neighbor’s driveway. I may try to cut it to better fit and more cleanly match my ancient lawnmower, but this fits the curve of my 30 inch deck.

Fits perfectly on 30" deck, does what it is supposed to.

This is worth the money spent. It was THE part needed and I didn't have to go through the after-market "Why doesn't it fit?" routine

Perfect but I wish they were made stronger to hold up to small rocks that hit the chute and break the left side mounting hole. If my yard didn't have rocks in the soil these mulch kit chutes would last a very long time. This is the original MTD and I would recommend getting one if you need it . It was delivered in excellent new condition. Overall I rate it 5 stars
