Nothing beats a strobe
You'll not regret having this. I've probably spent more on 'inexpensive' clip on and stand alone tuners, but nothing rivaled my ancient Conn Strobotuner until this well-made and feature rich little guy joined the herd.If you think this is pricy, think again - as a proper intoned instrument makes everything you play sound SO much better. Great little box.

5 star for blucoil package not just the tuner
If you go on Guitar Center or anywhere else you’ll see this pedal selling for the same price of $149 (at time of writing). However buying from this seller on Amazon, for the same price, you not only get a tuner but a bunch of goodies: picks, short right-angled patch cables, a normal 10ft instrument cable, and a power supply that works with the tuner. What an absolute deal. Granted the 10ft cable is a bit thin for my liking but whatever it’s essentially free. The tuner itself come with a 9V battery from Peterson themselves (the people who make the pedal), so that’s a great touch, but again not needed with this blucoil kit which comes with a 9V/670mA power supply. On top of that it’s a Prime order so you get 2 day shipping plus easy returns if anything happens. There is no reason to shop anywhere else but here for the tuner. Very cool of the seller to include all these extra goodies for essentially free. 10/10 5 stars highly recommend buying, and buying here

Perfection in a pedal!
I normally would not gush over a tuner, but dam this thing is "da bomb". I have Snark clip-ons and a Korg Clip-on. I just moved them to the parts drawer. This tuner is so accurate, it highlighted how inaccurate my clip-on's are. I was able to get intonation dead perfect and I know there may be some placebo effect going on, but my notes appear to sound beautiful all the way up the neck in all registers. Great product!!

Attractive Tuner With Tons Of Features
First off, I am a professional, touring guitar tech with a current, charting country artist. I tune guitars for a living and have done so for years. I’ve owned and used pretty much every Petterson tuner other than the rack mounted versions. I’ve also been using the Petterson IOS apps and find them quite useful for doing instrument set ups. So here’s the deal. I general, most guitar players don’t like the whole digital strobe display and tend to go for a more simple display like the Boss TU-3 tuner. It’s been my experience throughout the years that the Petterson strobe tuners, though pretty to watch, were too susceptible to loud sound and extremely hard to use in concert situations. The strobe display would be all over the place. During shows, I use three to four tuners at once. I have an old analog meter tuner, a rack mounted Korg, boss TU-3 and clip on Poly and Uni tuners (with the Poly set to Uni mode). I decided to buy this Petterson mostly because I liked the way it looked AND I was really curious to see how it would handle high volume situations. The good news: It turns out that this tuner works as well as my other tuners in loud situations. The strobe display has only two levels of resolution and for the most part, both levels move in sync so to me, it’s not a true strobe display but that said, it’s pretty to look at, handles volume reasonably well and most definitely is very accurate (as Petterson’s are known for. Another plus are the many “sweeteners” and massive library of settings. If you need a tuner that can be truly customized for your instrument, this is it. On the other hand, if you just need a guitar tuner for live gigs and don’t care about anything else, I’d probably tell you to save some money and go with the TU-3.This is a beautifully built and amazingly functional tuner. It’s highly accurate, has tons of custom options and seems to handle loud rooms well.

Nicer Chinese made tuner
This is a nice tuner with a few shortcomings. The good: nice large display. Very accurate. Very fast. Easy to use for basic guitar tuning. Good sounding buffer. The bad: the "sweetener" tunings are worthless in a band unless everybody has a Strobo-Stomp and tunes to the same "sweetener" preset. Display doesn't tell you how many cents you are off in tuning (which would be nice when setting intonation on a guitar). Made in China but still expensive. Only a single 1/4" output. Overall, this is a nice Chinese-made tuner that should be made in the US for this price.

Good tuner - bad power supply
This Peterson tuner needs no praise from me. Everyone that plays any electric stringed instrument already knows this is the best tuner with the most robust feature set at this price point. However, the included Blucoil power supply is useless! Unless you want to hum along at 60 cycles with this thing, don't bother using it. It is noisy. The cables (including the very short patch cords) seem adequate, although I haven't tried them in a electronically noisy environment.So--great tuner, a little value from cables, worthless AC power supply.

Good as it gets in a small pedal..
EASY to see and read. Solid. Has proven VERY accurate. Bit of a learning curve compared to some, but that's a good thing as the feature set is amazing for a tuner. I think most ppl know the multiple feature sets, so let me just say, they work WELL. One big gripe I have seen on previous post is how hard it was to get velcro to stick to the smooth pad on the bottom for pedalboard use. It would appear they listened and have resolved that issue. Along with mine (and pictured on the white box to the right of the pedal) was a precut 3M velcro pad with the peel off strip to expose the adhesive. It does not cover the battery compartment, inset or screws (perfect!). I put it on and it worked as would be expected. Don't know how many times it will deal with removal, but I plan ahead for all my pedals and most likely won't be removing it for some time. Couldn't be more satisfied with this purchase. I very much enjoy quality products and am glad to fork out a few extra bucks if they can live up to their aim. I believe this one will. EDIT: Ok, I goofed. I thought the 3M velcro piece was to put on the bottom pad. Wrong! You need to remove the soft rubber pad on the bottom of the pedal and REPLACE it with the 3M velcro strip. Whoops! The pad of course came off and is useless now. I will see if I can order another one, or just make one based off the pads pattern. My bad. I want to at least thank Petersons for listening. Hope no one else made that mistake.
