Fab product, even better customer service
The product is beautiful, very modern and expensive looking. I can’t thank Lighting DIY enough for their customer service. One of my items turned up silver but the builder fitted before I noticed. They immediately sent out a white cover plate to rectify. Very happy and will definitely be using them again

You need extra wiring for this socket
I have old wiring in my cottage with no earth in the lighting cable. I have lots of Trendi light switches as they are plastic and don't need earthing - they look great.I'm doing up my kitchen and decided for the first time to use Trendi sockets, including replacing my current cooker switch + single socket. I expected to be able to simply replace the old cooker socket with the new Trendi one. But it wasn't that simple.The Trendi cooker+socket switch are wired separately. This is an EU configuration, not a UK one. You can get the cooker switch to work using your existing cable, but in order to get the socket to work you need extra cable to link the socket to the cooker switch. This is not supplied and I didn't have any, or know what type of cable to buy (not that I would buy a 5m reel of cable when I only need about 15cm!).I'm not an electrician and only feel able to safely replace a socket when it has English, not EU, wiring systems and I can wire it in exactly the same way as the existing socket. Therefore, I sent the socket back. The fact you are going to need extra cable to get this socket to work should be stated in the product description.It's a shame as I've replaced the double sockets in the kitchen with Trendi sockets and they look great.
