Nice picture, and good for Netflix.

My last review was not allowed. The vendor shipped a box in tatters. Product is broken on arrival. The image was stable but the tv had a sound like my vw TDI on cold start. Minus the smoke.

I bought a purportedly brand new LG SM86000. The picture is very good, but the TV not so smart. First, although advertised as “Alexa built-in,” it was not (although available as an app). Second, the smart TV does not support HBO Go (maybe even HBO) or apparently TMS, although HBO Go , but not TMS, was available by Firestick (not included). I am also concerned about the availability of lesser known cable apps like Pluto.

i BOUGHT THIS TV AND ANOTHER LG SMART TV APRIL 2020 AND IT WORKED WITH THE THIN Q APP NOW IT WON'T LG SAYS OUT OF WARRANTY OUT OF LUCK. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM.

As long as the picture is bright and streaming 4k HDR, the image is amazing. It runs into trouble with dark scenes, the local dimming is especially noticable when there are black bars on the top or bottom. I wish there were twice as many dimming zones but it's a nice feature if you forgive its shortcomings.The YouTube app doesn't have video descriptions, a problem if you like watching videos with links to articles.

I was looking for a brighter, bigger TV than my previous one that support Auto-Low Latency and 120hz for gaming. When I saw the specs for the TV and how it was several nits brighter for HDR and also supported LED Local Dimming, I thought to myself that I should go for it, especially at the low renewed price. I was a little apprehensive due to the description saying it may have some scratches, but I went for it anyway, the 90 day return guarantee being a huge decided factor.The box it came in was not in good shape, but the TV itself and all its components looked almost new. After spending about a month with this new TV, I have to admit I am really loving all the features it touts as well as the overall brightness and vividness of the display. The only negative I have towards this model is that the Local Dimming is very poor and creates a blooming effect during dark content which does not look very pleasing. When it does work, the black level is quite deep and I enjoy it, but I would not consider this to be the TV's standout feature. The colour accuracy, low input-latency and HDR brightness more than make up for its faults, especially at this price.Another small negative is that the back panel was missing one screw which led to the front panel jutting forward slightly; I was able to fix this with a spare screw I had lying around, and when I let the vendor know, they replied offering to send a replacement screw. Overall good communication.I definitely think this TV was a good purchase and I will be looking into more of Amazon's renewed products in the future.

It is been hanged here for more than 9 months, today i found like a damage on the inside screen and it is not working!It has not been hit or damaged by anythings!

Showed up at my doorstep with a hole in the box which did not inspire high confidence at first, but upon removing the TV from the box, setup was quick and all parts/peripherals were included in mint condition. Other than the box itself, it was very hard for me to distinguish if this was a pre-owned unit at all. No issues whatsoever so far and very happy with the purchase. I think for the price point and as long as you get a functional unit, this is a steal.

Great deal from Amazon. Item was undamaged and looks like new. Remote had no batteries and was AA not AAA. Wall mounting was easy. The reason I picked it was because it is LG and have had previous LG led TVs this is the next level of quality and screen resolution.
