iTouchless 8 Gallon Touchless Sensor Trash Can with AbsorbX Odor Filter System, 30 Liter Round White Steel Garbage Bin, Perfect for Home, Kitchen, Office

I got two of these trashcans for Christmas. My husband wanted me to return one, but I like them so much that he agreed to keep the extra. I use a similar one at my work, but these are sturdier, and I like that these have a charcoal filter. These work great and are easy to keep clean. I love that they roll because I use them in the kitchen and roll them to where I'm working.

I replaced my 15 year old itouchless round 13 gallon trash container, as it was just getting old and pitted, and it was a little slower on the lid operation, but it did still work. The shape of this new one works so much nicer with the 13 gallon bags! With the round pail, the bag would stay all bunched up, until it kept getting more and more weight from the trash. This one opened up immediately, giving full use of the entire can. It looks great. Measures to size, so it fits perfect in my custom cabinetry. I like the locking feature. Still, I wish iTouchless would create a lid that Opens in the Light and Closes in the Dark. It's also supposed to be "fingerprint proof". It was received with marks on the front of the can, that you can even see in the photos. I tried several cleaners. Nothing would take them off. I also wish the "ring guard" would actually "snap into place", and not just sit on top. Still, it's a GREAT trash can!

Great robot trash bin! Love this guy. I wheel him around wherever I need him! Love being able to be hands free! Large easy to move and use!

Nice product!My only complaint is that it does not work if there's like a shelf above it.In my case, they're staying the steel above the lid, allowing enough room for the lid to open without hitting anything.It does not work it does not open.But I was determined to see if I can make it work and outsmart that sensor.I did!I put a piece of tape over the sensor just partially, and now it works like a charm.It does not come with batteries, and you need 4C size batteries to operate it. Not sure how long the batteries will last.Be sure to buy batteries.This trashcan looks great and operates very well. I believe this is probably the best sick can get for the way. The door opens and it looks fantastic.That's what saved this trashcan from not going back.

This is a follow up to my review of 8 days ago (see below) -- I'm here to report that after some three weeks of standard use (single person household), the lid no longer works -- neither with battery nor with power adapter -- rendering the trash can useless. I'm contacting Amazon for a refund. Very disappointed with this product (first it arrives slightly dinged; then you have a hard time getting the sticker off; only the bottom part is brushed stainless steel -- the top is plastic pretending to look like chrome -- and now it's dead. However, the mechanism looks rather flimsy, and I'm not sure this can will work for several years under normal usage. The can itself is brushed stainless steel, but the removable top part is not. When the can arrived, the metal had a slight dent -- but I can live with that since it's around, in the back, near the seam, so one can't see it unless one looks. However, the reason I give this can one star is this: It took me over an hour to remove the sticker that the company puts on the can, and I even used Goof Off remover. It's really not that hard to find and put on easy-to-remove peel stickers, but this company chooses not to. really bothersome; I wouldn't buy this brand again just for that reason. (Plus, I simply don't trust the mechanism has a long life-span -- I'll see if it's true that you always get what you pay for.)

Was searching for various trashcan with automatic lid and size was a matter. I had to return couple of products and then found this itouchless trashcan with 8 gallon capacity that had right height for accessibility. Quality of product is very good and functions very well as expected.

Purchased this unit to replace another brand of touchless which I had. Great sensitivity to its' open position along with high quality metal basket. A/C adapter (included) was a nice feature as not to worry about dead batteries and their cost.

It behaved pretty goofy at first but, once I shut it off for a while then turned it back on it behaved perfectly. It cleans up very nice, bags pull out easily as there are holes on the bottom to prevent that frustrating suction. There is a removable ring on the top. Put your bag in then the ring holds it nicely in place, no more bag sliding down into the can. This one works very nice in small spaces. I really like this one. truly hands free.
