The cord fits and does work. But is a little looose & if you move the iMac it disconnects the power So have to be careful and not move anything and the. It works great.

Ever had an Apple product? You know that stuff always requires a special adapter, dongle or cable!Ever had an OLD Apple product? It is really hard finding replacement parts, since they completely change that stuff every few years.I have an ancient 2009 27" iMac, and the cable was trashed by the prior owner. Many times I've tried to order a replacement - no matter what, I ended up getting several versions of the same dumb cord you'd use to power a desktop PC. Frustrated and defeated, I just tried to ignore the issue, until... you know what happened! 🔥As a result, I did not have a way to even see if my computer still worked. But, this time when I searched, this item came right up. Honestly, I was still confused if it would work for *my* iMac, but it had good return policy and seemed more legit than the last few places I tried. It think maybe even Amazon had highlighted it as the best choice. I had little to lose.I had to wait a long time (understandable - "current events") and when I finally got it yesterday, I did not even have the guts to try. But it sure did look like it should look.. an hour or two later I worked up the nerve and HALLE-LOO ITS THE RIGHT ONE! My computer powered on as if it had been on a long nap. I am so excited!! Wish I had found you long ago!

The cord fits and worked perfectly
I bought a used iMac and it did not come with a cord. So I look on amazon and saw this seller with very good reviews. I ordered the power cord for a good decent/cheaper price. I got the item promptly and it looked and feel like an original one. I plugged it into the computer and it fits perfectly then I powered it on and voila! my used iMac is now working without any issue with the power cord. I would totally recommend this seller.
