Does the job
These cables are well made and do the job, although if the wire was one gauge heavier, I would not mind. Good value

Works but
They work but the wires are so fine it is very difficult to strip the insulation and they break easily when connecting them.

Fits the bill
Needed for an electronics project. Well-made but a little on the pricey side for what you're getting. Colors are identified to save you from doing a continuity check.

Fixed my headphones, replaces wire with jack with this 3.5mm female port.
I have ATH-AD700X Headphones (audio technica), the headphones are great, but the wire (with jack) that connects from headphones to an open port was splitting open (and the wires inside were enamel coated crap), so I replaced the entire wire with this replacement port and turned it into a female port. So, now I use a 3.5mm heavy duty Aux Cable in between my headphones open port and open port I plan to jack into. Now, I can just pull the Aux Cable and use my headphones elsewhere.

Wire is pretty thin, but carries very little current
I bought the version for a 3 conductor installation. The only mistake you can make is to not connect the ground properly (typically one ground wire shared with both audio channels.) This is easy to test as the ground is always on the outermost conductor. If you are worried about the claims that these are improperly wired, use a (cheap) continuity tester. If you mix up right and left, BFD. The gauge of the wiring is pretty lightweight, but these are meant to drive headphones, typically in a less-than-audiophile setup. Met my expectations. Only needed one. I'd have rather paid half the price for what I needed.
