Chef's Secret 7-Inch Preseasoned Cast Iron Bacon Press, Durable Kitchen Tool with Pig Logo and Wood Handle

I love my bacon press, and you can use it on other foods to. What I don't understand is why there are no cleaning instructions. I cook with cast iron so I know how to clean it. But people that are trying it for the first time will have a problem with how to clean it. Why don't you put cleaning instructions with it? It's a great press and I love mine. Just wanted to know.

Gave this to my granddaughter she just got married in January.

Keeps you from getting burnt from bacon grease and keeps mom happy cause if mom's not happy no one in the house is happy.

We had been using tin cans to flatten bacon - THIS BACON Press works so much better! Wow. My chef raves! You do have to watch the bacon closer since it cooks lots faster - so do hamburgers. I just scrub it with brush to clean, the grooves are easier to do with brush. It helps to spray with cooking spray before using. Then be sure to dry it thoroughly - we set it on paper towels on a paper plate. The round bacon press is just the right size for a 10 inch frying pan. You do have to watch the handle since it rolls so clean it after it cools and you can hold one of the uprights with your thumb. I took off a star for that. I would buy it again if it wears out in the next 30 years.

Very sturdy. Not too heavy but heavy enough. Perfect size and great customer service from seller!

Good for bacon and burgers

I only used this bacon press once ( ran out of bacon,,lol ). But I CAN tell you once you flip your bacon over, it’s still hard to uncurl them, but once you have that annoying task done you can place the press back on them and it works as intended. I intend to use it for other various things too. (Maybe other than food.. ha ha!). All in all I like this product. Will update if the handle falls off In a week though...

The wife loves it for cooking bacon. Going to have to try it for grilled cheese sandwiches soon.
