Great replacement
One of our outdoor Christmas decorations wouldn't come on this year and I gave it a chance that it might be the transformer. It was. I knocked one star off because I don't think the threads on any of these chinese things is the same. Otherwise it worked all holiday season just fine.

Saved a Piece of Decor From the Trash
It was a direct replacement for one of those little string tree things. The connector fit, and now it works. I didn't bother load testing or anything, it is only going to be used for that particular piece, so it didn't seem to be necessary.Definitely better than the DIY project that would've been necessary if I hadn't found this.
