bought this to elevate an old copper saucer-type birdbath about pachysandra; very easy to slide bath around on base to get water level level; chipmunks can still leap up to have a sip; very well made and perfectly sturdy (with the help of a couple of "lawn staples" on feet to prevent raccoons from knocking the bath over); very happy with purchase
