I bought this for my dad, who suffer's from dementia. He is always misplacing his keys. But, since i got him this attachable key ring, he clips it on his pants and does not have to remove it, just pull the chain, open door and key still securely on his belt. So, now he always knows where his keys are. It also came 2 in a pack which was a plus.

These are awesome, they're very well-made, can hold quite a bit of weight, they're sturdy and stays on tight. I really only needed one, but when my husband saw mine, he wanted one too so it was perfect they came in a two pack.

I bought this two pack over two years ago. I have been using one with my work ID card every day since. I wear it connected to a belt loop with the included carabiner ring. It is perfect - long enough to easily reach the swipe pads for doors from my belt loop, strong enough to always retract completely, and durable enough to still be 100% like new after two years.Unfortunately, I lost the first one, along with my ID, yesterday. Amazingly, I have an entire second set to use with my new ID - reel, carabiner, and even card holder. I am pretty convinced that, if you don't lose them, you could make this pair of two last a lifetime. I never really thought about how good this reel is until I lost one because it operates so well that you just don't think about it.There is no downside to these that I can identify for the way I use them. They are well designed, they work perfectly, they are durable, and there are two of them. When I someday lose the second one, I will absolutely reorder the exact same product (unless I have found the first one that I lost by then). Taking all of these factors into account, this package is a great value. It would still be a good value at twice the current price.This is one of those rare cases when something has exceeded my expectations. And, again, this review was written after two years of using one.

Great product overall. Feels sturdy, and if the materials used are as-claimed it should last a long time. The circular clip it comes with works well too. Only complaint is that the retraction spring is really QUITE heavy for what it is. I imagine they did that so it can hold up even a large amount of keys or other heavier loads, but for a badge holder it's overkill. Still, it does the job and should last for ages so 4 stars it is.

So while at work I was playing with a co-workers plastic retracting badge holder and the cheap plastic one extended out and snapped, so there I was feeling terrible for breaking her holder, so I offered to buy her a replacement and landed on this set. Not only are they high quality with decent weight, they feel as if they could be indestructible. She got one and so did I.They not only come with just the holder but a badge holder, new ring and everything you could need. This is something I would absolutely buy again. Like I always tell people in my reviews if you are on the fence about getting this set do it! You can thank me later, because you will definitely be pleased.

Really strong hold. My work keys are safely held on. Haven't lost them. I'm going to definitely suggest this to all my coworkers.

Retraction is strong! Snaps right back into place watch your hands. It takes a bit of force to pull the cord. Once broken in and that spring wears out a bit it will be perfect.Thing is heavy duty and the O shaped clip is very nice to ensure you do not lose it. Hook it to a belt loop and it will not go anywhere. Only complaint is you cannot remove the badge holder from the ring. You could cut it off but I might need it in the future so I left it on. That is the only change I would make.Will buy this again but I doubt this is going to be broken anytime soon. Feels bulletproof.
