Excellent for stopping egg eaters
This worked well to stop my chickens from bullying each other and also to stop it is. A bit tricky to put on but follow the instructions, I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the players supplied. However I did manage to do it on my own without assistance, possibly would be easier with somebody else holding the Chook. After a day of wearing them my chickens didn’t seem to notice that they had them on. Definitely recommend.

They work, but...
So the concept seems to definitely hinder the chicken to be (able) to bully properly. And although she was still able to bully the said chicken upon putting the device on initially, it was just too small, therefore we stuck red tape over the edges to make it wider and taller and now she finds it too difficult to chase after her, or bully her easily. Although it looks really stupid on her (like shes wearing a VR headset) She can still jump, eat drink and scrape about in the dirt. It really doesn't look like it bothers her too much. she just can't chase after the chicken and bully her. I'll try for a week or 2 and see what it's like upon taking it off. Also, you will find it fiddly to put on, but you will get there and definitely needs 2 of you as she wont want this on her, and you will see just how much when you try.

Stopped the feather plucking bullying
Put these on the 2 "bully" hens and their victim started to regrow her feathers. She was half bald, but now is a healthy hen again. The bullies soon got used to the spectacles and don't seem bothered by them. They just can't quite focus to pull feathers out of the other hens. They eat and drink comfortably - They did have a bit of trouble with one narrow water drinker, so I offered a choice of drinkers until they were used to things. Will remove the clips and see if they resume their bad habits, but in the meantime - did the job perfectly and humanely.

They work.
I bought some of these for a hen who is a bully and she has badly pecked two of my other hens, one sadly did not survive. I only needed a few but had to buy so many because they only come in a large pack, also I really did not got on with the pinchers. Three of us tried using the pinchers to get the peepers on the hen and eventually gave up on day one. I tried again the next day but still with no success so had a go by pulling the peepers open manually and fitting the peepers on the hen which worked. So far they are stopping the hen from being a bully and she seems far less aggressive, I haven’t been pecked either. It is just difficult saying something is value for money when you only need a couple of peepers but have to buy the pinchers and over 60 pieces of plastic. Also I am a little worried that the hen is having difficulty reaching into her feeder now so have left out a small bowl of feed for her. But on a positive side I am no longer stressed that the hen is attacking the other hens while my back is turned which is wonderful and she seems perfectly happy. So I would recommend them as they do give peace of mind.

Do the job
Not the easiest to put on. But it stopped the chicken from pecking all the other birds feathers out. Left on for 2 weeks but will need to refit again for slightly longer.

Bullying chickens
After losing two chickens to severe bullying (vent pecking) They then started picking on one particular chicken (new Ex battery) with only two left of the four ex batts I took on I decided to put glasses on the two culprits and it seems to have done the job. No more blood on the new chicken and she is slowly building her confidence, they can still eat drink and behave normally but the glasses seem to bring them down a peg or two.Wish I had known about these earlier. 😞Highly recommended, and I manage to put them on, on my own.

Highly recommend if nothing else will work.
Having tried everything - sprays, tar, to stop one hen being relentlessly pecked by two others I reluctantly decided to use these. No they don't look very nice but the hens adjusted to having them on after a few days. 2 people are needed to fit and take off but easy to do. I have to admit It stops all aggressive pecking immediately and so far appears to have broken the habit. If nothing else works I would highly recommend this.

Worked like a charm
I have a small backyard flock and some of my hens were ruthlessly attacking a particular hen. They pecked her so badly that she had gaping wound on the back of her head that took a couple months to heal. As soon as I tried to reintroduce her they immediately tried to reopen her head. I tred so many things, exchanged some of my hens for others to try and change up the pecking order, put them in chicken jail, ect. Nothing worked on my bullies until I put these blinders on them. Its been less than 24hours and they've been unable to attack. It was an immediate attitude adjustment. These blinders seem to be good quality and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Macht was es soll
Hätte 3 Federpicker in meiner Herde.

The media could not be loaded.
