When the product first arrived upon taking it out of the box I found that two of the three lights had the solar panel hanging off the light. So I went ahead and charged up the lights in the sun & they took & held a charge so I put the solar panels in place and then sealed them down with clear tape & made them water tight. Was pleased to see that the lights came with magnets on the back so I could just put them up pretty much anywhere I needed one. Update- After having the lights for a week the two that came defective with the solar panel hanging off do not work. Only one light of the three works.I'd buy something else and find a manufacturer that has any pride in their product at all. This crap must have been made in China.

Works very well, motion detection works great, light is very bright

We use it to ward off critters who like to come up on our back pourch at night. Also useful to see any people who come on our back porch at night.

I've bought about 18 of these lights and the switch seems to be the biggest problem. I loved the fact they were magnetic but after a couple of years I only have about 5 that work. Oh I also replaced the battery on more than a few. Great when they work but...

I don't know how these can have a bad review? I used them on my softball field and they work great. Just make sure to give them adequate lighting in the daytime for the charge. They are super bright at night, the motion sensors could be a little better but for the price it's perfect for my application at 3 of the 4 entrances. I'll be buying more and suggest you try. If your looking for self dinning, or any other fancy setting? They're $40 what do you expect? I think they're great!!!!
