Robust & Responsive
Great piece of kit to use as a scene controller. Used one with Home Assistant to trigger lighting and media automations. It's pretty responsive, only had to re-press a couple of times. Setting up takes a while, but due to the nature of the device that was expected (used NodeRed + HA). The fact that the device reports three states per button (press, release, hold) means that you could actually create combination buttons.

Does work with Home Assistant
I originally wrote a review of these stating that they did not work with Home Assistant. I had two and had issues with both. I subsequently learned that I had other Z Wave problems. Once these were fixed, the network healed, these now work reliably. One star lost for build quality which does feel a bit cheap, but then again they are cheap.

Not compatible with Smartthings. Sure it connects, eventually. But then doesn't work
Been trying to get this to work with my smarthings v2 hub for a while now, and all roads end in failure frustration and dissapointment. The amount of rebooting of devices necessary to get the thing to pair in the first place is crazy. It doesn't pair correctly "out of the box". When it does pair, it doesn't work in the smarthings app properly. (you can't configure its buttons via the device itself, you have to create routines and do it that way.I bought a sonoff button for £8. It connected after a small bit of faff, and has been perfectly fine ever since.Don't waste your money on this aeotech nanomote Quad. It has lots of unnecessary functionlity, which creates confusion. It's meant to be a light switch in my 6 year olds bedroom. she shouldn't have to go through the rigmarole of "waking up the device" with a 10 second button press before pressing again to turn her lights on....Dissapointing, because I had high hopes for this product, with a view to getting its bigger brother for light switch replacement...

It works but not very robust
I bought this to hang on my keyring.... It's a bit larger than I expected but just about acceptable. Its all plastic so given that it's dangling against keys, I'm not sure how long it'll last. The 4 keys are OK but the so called lock that prevents accidental pressing is so complicated that it's not practical to use. The way the advertising blurb explains it, I had thought you could programme a simple key press lock but that isn't the case.In terms of operation, it paired with Vera after about 3 tries, so not bad... But the instructions aren't quite right. I find in use that it's slow... By that I mean that after pressing a button it takes quite a time... Maybe 6 seconds.... Before activating... Maybe a Vera problem but as this device is used for opening doors, the delay makes you feel that it isn't going to work, then it does... Most of the time!So overall.... Probably worth buying but not as good as I had hoped.

Won't work with Smartthings
Description says it works with Smartthings, but tried a variety of ways to try and get this working with Smartthings and was impossible. Sent back.

Compact z-wave remote
I use this with home assistant, it paired with my aeotec z-wave usb dongle just fine. I have set one button to lock/unlock my front door and the others operate lights. You can have 2 functions per button (press and hold). It's quite compact and the battery has lasted 3 weeks so far.

Connection problems
Item does not pair with SmartThings hub v3, nor Google Home despite adding device identifiers etc. Any advice?
