BBQ Gasket Black Grill Tape High Temp Grill Seal Self Stick Gasket, 7.5 Ft Length 1/8 Inch Thickness (2, 0.5 Inch Wide)

I used this product as a gasket for my clothes dryer between the lint screen compartment and exhaust duct, It seemed to seal properly and didn't catch fire on the first couple uses. The tape held in place as I slid one cylindrical pipe onto the other. I don't think it's heavy duty enough to use on my primo xl smoker/grill though. The backing was very difficult to peel off to expose the tape. I had to use an exacto knife on it.

I used this to seal up the gaps on my new cheap offset smoker. I applied it to the edges of both the firebox and cooking area and have noticed improvement in temperature regulation and fuel efficiency. I have smoked and grilled about 6 times so far and the gaskets are holding up, even when in direct contact with flame. This is a great inexpensive way to improve your bbq rig. If I had to find a flaw anywhere it would be that it can be a little tricky to remove the film covering the adhesive.

I bought this to better seal my Akorn kamado grill. Installation was simple and quick. The adhesive is good. I’d recommend it for sealing the ash pan and bottom vent. It was thinner and less dense than I anticipated, but that was actually better for the damper door…and it certainly did the job…at a great price.

Put it inside the door if our warmer

This gasket tape worked really well on my barbecue smoker. I sealed all of the edges around the lid to prevent smoke from escaping during long smokes. I immediately noticed that I had better control over my grill temperature and I was able to get my temp down to where I want it. One suggestion is to make sure your grill is clean so that the self-sticking tape has a clean surface to stick to. It won't stick to an oily surface. And after you apply the tape allow it to rest for a couple days before using the grill. Highly recommended!

Destroyed over half a roll of felt just trying to get the dang tape off the sticky side everytime i had to cut and try again till i managed to get the tape off the sticky side and would have to cut the distroid part off and try again . it should not be that hard to remove the protective tape once i did get a undamaged piece of the seal it went good just make sure you use some d natured alcohol to prep the surface if you dont it will not stick for long most important CLEAN your surface where you want to use seal !!!!! Other than distroying half the one roll this stuff is great would have gave 5 stars but due to how hard the tape is to get off and the loss of seal due to damaging trying to remove the tape i could not give it a 5 star rating

My pellet smoker arrived a little banged up. The lid would not sit completely flush on the smoker body when closed.The gap was causing heat loss when cooking and thus, it was burning pellets a lot faster than it should to keep the heat constant.I bought this tape and to my surprise, it has worked beautifully. No more smoke leakage from the hood at all. I have smoked three different times since installing it, about 20 hours worth of smoking time and it has held up great.I would definitely recommend.

I enjoyed how easy it was to roll out and cut. It was a little hard pulling the tape off the sticky side, due to not having any nails. All in all it was a great product. It sealed the door on my smoker to prevent temp swings.

Ho comprato queste guarnizioni per migliorare l'isolamento termico del coperchio del mio BBQ. Le ho attaccate lungo il bordo del coperchio in modo che aderisse meglio alla base. Dopo aver pulito bene i bordi del coperchio (sgrassante ed alcool) ho incollato la guarnizione lungo tutto il bordo. La colla della guarnizione è ottima e l'aderenza è stata eccellente (coperchio in metallo). La guarnizione è morbida e si è adattata facilmente alle linee del coperchio. Il risultato è stato ottimo: il coperchio quando viene chiuso non fa piu rumore (metallo su metallo) ma piu importante la resa termica è aumentata: il BBQ va piu rapidamente a temperatura ed è piu stabile. Dopo diversi usi non ho notato alcuna alterazione o deformazione della guarnizione. Poca spesa, tanta resa. Raccomandatissimo.
