Works great, but be aware you may need to adjust the starter posts with pliers for older fixtures.
I have this one old fluorescent fixture that's about as old as my home (almost 40 years).With today's FS-2 type ballasts the posts may be just a hair (almost literally) too far apart to readily fit into either side of the socket. After spending several minutes frustratingly have seemingly just one post click into place and wiggling it around desperately trying to get both to insert, I measured and found the distance was just off.Moved each post closer by about half a millimeter each and the thing with just a couple tries neatly slide into the socket flat and clicked for a solid connection. Otherwise, seems decent, though we'll see how long it lasts given others' experiences with these Chinese-made starters.

Worked for my needs
Repaired older bug light with a built in starter. The unit was old, but i had put a light sensor in many years ago, and couldnt pull myself to throw it away, so i determined the old starter had failed. I remove old started and hard wired this in, now it is working as new.

Quick fix
Allowed me to fix an old light instead having to install a new light. New light wasn’t that expensive but where mounted my back didn’t twist into those positions any more to be able to install and everywhere local was out of them and it was a light I used nightly
