Sauder Harbor View Library Wall Bookcase in Antiqued Paint

The package was roughed up in transit and when I pulled the pieces out of the box one component was damaged and unusable. I contacted Sauder and they sent me the piece within just a few days. Shelves are sturdy and look great in our setting.

This unit has turned out to be a worthwhile purchase. After it has been assembled, all three pieces look beautiful. The reason for the 4-star rating is that it is tedious to put together. It took me an afternoon to assemble by myself. It's not difficult to assemble, but it does take time. The instructions were straightforward. I feel that I got my money worth with this purchase.

Normally, I hate furniture made from particle board. I bought this set thinking I would use it for a couple years until I can replace it with higher quality, solid wood. Guess what? I'm thinking I might just keep these shelves. They're well-made, very solid and sturdy, and they look great in my study. Since installing them, I've heard nothing but "oohs" and "ahhs" from my guests.For those wondering, these shelves can be bought separately but they look great together. On the downside, there will probably be some space between them if you place them on carpet. The only way around this would be to screw them together, or attach them in some other way.

It has a crack on one piece.

The product is about average. The price works out to be about $150 per piece and it is worth that, but it's not great. Covered particle board and instructions are easy to follow and assembly is pretty quick. Except the drawer instructions are wrong and make you put the runners in upside down- but that's easily remedied. One piece of the top curved fascia was cracked, but it's not structural so I just secured it and used it anyway. My one complaint is that they do not sit so perfectly side-by-side. One leans a little forward- there's more gap between the units than shows in the picture so you do NOT get that unified appearance of the one in the photo. It clearly looks like three separate units, but other than that... They seem very sturdy and the shelves are good and thick and solid.

These are the most beautiful bookcases I have seen for the money. They were so simple to assemble by myself as well. The instructions were clear, and even contained a little humor! The cases are very well built. The only issue was minor with my patience and getting the doors aligned, but I was putting together myself so a second pair of hands would have probably helped that.

This is a lovely three-piece book case. I bought it for my office space, and it's the perfect size for the space; everyone one that comes in loves it. I have a friend who asked for the amazon link, so that she can order it herself.it took me two days, with additional help, to put it together. I would advise against putting it together by your self.

Initially we had an issue with one of the packages arriving damaged. The seller was quick to get that package sent back out to replace it. It was not the sellers fault but fedex had noted the package damaged and still delivered it. Very sturdy set. Worth the price. Easy to assemble.
