Columbia Women's PFG Freezer III Dress

These are my favorite dresses. I think have 4 now different patterns/colors. They are great for hot humid days. They are easy to wash, just throw in the washer and dryer. They don’t seem to wrinkle at all. I’m 5’9” and the length is perfect for me. They hit a little above the knee. Plenty of coverage. Nice to be able to stay cool in the heat without having to expose too much skin. I think they run a little small. I wear a small in most things. I have 2 of these in a medium and 2 in a large. The medium fits fine but is kind of snug in the chest. The large is better in this regard and feels more flowing and comfortable but the arm holes are two big and certain bras show on the sides which I don’t like. I still love them just wish they fit me a little better. For reference I’m 5’9 and 135 lbs.

Was looking for a comfortable, cool, SPF dress to wear to Churchill Downs in the summer. This was perfect.! Easy to pack (lightweight, takes up no space in your luggage and no wrinkles), quick dry after washing, comfortable to wear and has SPF. Love the color combinations. Was easy to match with a fascinator in fuchsia. I was the “Bell of the ball”. Sale price was outstanding.

I love Columbia Freezer Tank dresses. This is my 5th! They drape beautifully, they’re cool and moisture wicking, the patterns are lovely. I’m 5’4”, 140 lbs, wide back, normal size arms, tummy I like to hide, I got a medium. The armholes are fine and the dress hits right above my knee. The bodice, and slightly cut-in arms are attractive and it skims the body with some looseness around the middle. Gives a sporty and cool vibe. At least I feel sporty and cool wearing them.

These dresses are comfortable, easy to wear if you're older and don't want a short skirt but you still want something cute. You can wear them on a boat, to the beach, or dress them up for a casual dinner. My only knock (besides the high Columbia brand price) is they are not for women with boobs. I'm 5'6" 34D/DD 135lbs and wear a Medium. The neckline is modestly cut but leaves no room for boobs so it flattens mine. If you have a stomach or a big booty you will have plenty of room. They are kind of pear shaped. I'd say if you're 34C or less you will like the cut.

I recently ordered and received my fourth Columbia Freezer dress. These dresses are so awesome, especially when they are discounted. The cooling properties of this dress are real. It may even be a little cooler than wearing nothing at all! When it is hot out, this dress is a multi-tasker: a bathing suit cover, a light dress for sightseeing, and with a cardigan, drinks and dinner. It is very sturdy and doesn't wrinkle. Washing and drying are very easy. I love these dresses for travel because they are so small and light to pack. I've washed mine in a hotel sink with some detergent and then hung it up to dry for a few hours. The fabric dries very quickly, which is why it is so cooling and works so well in heat. The style of the dress is flattering on me. It doesn't cling anywhere below the bust. I'm sure I haven't bought my last.

As others have said, these dresses are made of swim suit material. They are about as "cooling" as any summer dress and less so than linen. There's nothing special about the material. The fabric is doubled up across the chest and back. If you have a small chest, you won't need to wear a bra. I really like this! I'm 130lb, A/AA cup with broad shoulders and athletic build and got a Medium. It is fitted on me with no gapping anywhere in the chest, but not tight - that's exactly the fit I wanted. The down side is that the doubled-up fabric makes the dress keep you hotter. I wish the fabric wasn't doubled up in the back, there's no need for that. The exterior label on the back is large and ugly, I wish Columbia stopped doing that. I will look for ways to remove it. I ordered 2 dresses; the colors on one are exactly like the photo. The Canyon BLUE Roselles dress however has a base color of dark GREEN, different from the photo - that one is going back. Overall, these dresses are NOT worth the full price, but if you get them for >50% off they aren't a bad deal for beach/resort/vacation wear or as a summer house dress.

I love these tank dresses. They are super comfy and even have pockets. They hang nicely and look good. I get lots of compliments on them!

I bought this dress in black after reading a review about it. The reviewer stated it was great for casual wear but also nice enough to wear as a "little black dress" and I could not agree more. It is very flattering and exceptionally comfortable. Keeping me cool is just a bonus. I have thrown it on so many times that people I see on a regular basis may be wondering why I keep wearing the same thing every time they see me. Lol. Even though I feel like the black color is probably most versatile (as far as dressing it up or down), I will definitely be ordering this dress in additional colors. I normally wear a M/L (size 10/12). I am 5'6" and weigh 150 lbs. I ordered this dress in size large because I did not want it to be too form fitting. Large is perfect for me. Not clingy but also not baggy. If you are on the fence about ordering, just do it. You won't be sorry.

I bought the same style sundress in Las Vegas outlet store and love it. This colour is good but the length is 2cm shorter!
