I have had this for sometime-So this is a worn in review..
I will say this, pictures no. I will tell you about it.. I have dragged this poor tripod all around.. I have chased tornadoes, forest fires, even set it up on the side of a bluff on a windy day and I have never had an issue with the legs, outside of wearing the feet pads, an O rings. The only fault I can put on it is the core, but to be fair my camera and the sport lens I use are problems by themselves; you see they take the design to its limit, I know that, and as a result the design suffered. It's not broken its working for a living and in doing so it has worn to the point that it pains me - the idea of having to find a new tripod that works this good. Granted I am not the avg. buyer of this unit, no I am a cheapy I didn't want to over pay for less..You see there is good for not much that will and can do wonders - this is such a device.. A really robust tripod.. Granted I would not have thought it would go this long, let alone be still in good order, but it does, it has, and I would like to hope it bloody will for the time being... It's become a good friend..At first you baby the poor thing around, then after time that's when you see it for what it is..This tripod has been in streams of moving water, with no fail footing. So yea, if you don't stick a large DSLR+Sport lens on it you can have it last a long time - of that I am most assured. My tripod is kind to me, it bobbles about if I lift the center mass, bar in mind only when I have it again right on the edge of the factory spec mind you.. And yea I have had to do some minor DIY repairs to the mast where the head attaches but again I take ownership of that.. It's not a design fault, it's simply seen a lifetime in a short time so-Is it good - YesWould I buy it again- Very possible If they have one with a greater weight then of course. Is it light and easy to pack around or travel with? - Well ~ Sure a tripod of this type and size I would say its lighter then ones I had looked at and for sure is a touch cheaper in price.. But the build on it is amazing- As to the travel part, pack it in road trip sure not an issue pro tip if you fly figure a way to keep it on your camera bag. Putting it into or on a ruck or travel case is a bad idea..I will say this, I put away the really nice default head it comes with.. I use a stabilizer, or gimble mount. but the default head is really of a good design and works great for mirrorless small lens setups, and iphone in fact I would image most buyers will be very happy with this tripod.I know I am - very glad to have it..It maybe worn but I will use it till it dies! Or someone steals it..

Sturdy and lite weight
This is really sturdy and value for money. I have had this since a few years. Whenever I need to do a self portrait, it helps keep camera stable. It's not very expensive either. So for budget conscious folks, this is good deal.

Nice tripod
I own several heavy Manfrotto tripods but wanted something to photograph the 2024 eclipse that could fit into my carry on bag without being too heavy. This tripod ended up being a bit larger than I expected, but with the cental column removed it just fit in my roll-on (it's not a super compact tripod). I realized after the fact that a ball head was a poor choice for an eclipse (live and learn...gear head or tracking next time), but otherwise the tripod performed well and kept a Nikon with 500mm lens stable enough for some great shots. For the price it's hard to beat this tripod . It's a nice large tripod that is quite light weight for its size and seems solidly built.

Great beginner or backup carbon fiber tripod, really good deal for the $$.
Well is this tripod for Pros NO! Is this for semi-Pros maybe and for sure for beginners. So even for semi-Pros this tripod does have good quality to it, BUT it is not a $750 FLM or a $1000 Gitzo, or an RRS $1200 tripods, but what it is a is a great first tripod and even a second, because it's not really stable as every tripod DOES have vibrations even the RRS $1200 tripods. But what the FLM & Gitzo & RRS does is the vibrations dissipate much faster so you can expect a solid ultra sharp image with almost any lens, of course the longer the focal length the more time you need to give the tripod to stop vibrating after you touch the lens or shutter button so use a remote cable release. But for $100 with a good head, this will not replace my FLM but offer me a lightweight carbon fiber tripod great for use in light water streams photography as nothing will rust and can be cleaned out and re-oiled easy and cheap and for $100 or so a very good deal!

This tripod is great
Very sturdy, very simple to assemble, the ball head stays tight and maneuvers well. Easy to get back in the case that it comes with, and simple to get your equipment on and off. Only thing I'd say buy separately is the part that your camera attaches to and is quick release it tends to come loose a lot. But that is a cheap replaceable part for a great tripod otherwise. I've bought a lot of neewer products and I've been happy with all of them. They make good heavy duty products.
