Awesome scissors!!! I haven't had the chance to try the herb cutting ones yet but will post when I do. The kitchen ones are great! They can do anything except wash themselves, They come apart to become knives. These scissors also become a food slicer, fruit & veggie peeler, bone cutter, fish scaler, small nut cracker, twist off cap remover, bottle opener, and of all things a screw driver! These functions I have tried out and they all work. The magnetic holder is perfect attached to my dishwasher so it is available. This is my honest opinion even tho I was supposed to have gotten a discount for trying and reviewing this product but my husband ordered it with something else before I put in the discount code so I didn't get it. Doesn't matter because even at full price these are worth it

I bought the scissors for the convenience of hanging them on the frig. With the magnet holder I will never have to look for the again. they are very sharp and cut well. The herb shears work well, but I have found a better use for them. I keep them at my desk. When I get trash mail at home I have always torn my personal name and information off letters and junk mail before. It was tedious getting it torn into small pieces before throwing them away. I now use the shears as a mini shredder. It is very easy to shred my personal information off the mail to throw it away. It also saves time over sending them thru the large shredder.Dub

Wish I could rate this higher, but the scissors cut poorly, the magnet holder sticks to nothing that will support the scissors. Have used these to pry things open. Good if you are desperate for a pair of scissors and this is the only pair you can find, pretty much have to gnaw your way through anything plastic.

I did not get paid or receive a discount for writing a good review...so here is the truth...It is a pretty good product, my issues are (1) the blades come apart to easily based on the opening width where the blade locks separate. It would be nice if they rotated the openings so they could open wider without coming apart. (2) when opening plastic freezer bags or packages, they don't cut very well unless you start at the tip of the blades. If you try to start the cut too far back on the blade it just binds up. other than that...they work pretty well.

The kitchen scissors are a joke! Because of the extra (not needed in kitchen) knife design, the scissors are only capable of cutting on the first half of it.... very very very annoying! The herb shears are alright and I like the magnet case for the scissors.... I threw away the kitchen scissors and kept the herb scissors and the magnetic case on my fridge with my old kitchen scissors.

quality is for both scissors are average, but seem rugged enough to last. Despite some complaints on the scissor coming apart easily, I like the convenience of separating the blades for cleaning. Im not sure if I would use it for slicing or peeling. The blade is not sharp enough to cut through soft fruits and vegetables. It does work well as a scissor, and cuts through thick pieces of meat.The 5 blade scissor is bigger than I expect, and cleaning it well is a challenge. There is a pick/brush that is included that helps remove the food between the blades. I tried it with chopping down food and herbs, and it does a great job. I just don't like cleaning the scissor, and have some concerns about corrosion, since It cant be easily cleaned or dried.Overall, my wife and I are happy with this scissor set. The price is not bad and lifetime warranty does makes it sweeter.

I love to cook and while cooking I enjoy using fresh herbs. These shears make cutting the herbs super simple. I have cut myself a few times with knives so I was excited to try these. I have only used them a few times but so far they have been very good! The pair of scissors they came also work great. It is amazing how many time you need scissors in the kitchen!I received these at a discount in exchange for an honest review. I truly love them!

We have no clue why we waited to long to purchase kitchen shears, but we're delighted to have them now. My husband and I use numerous fresh herbs in our cooking and no longer have the tedious job of cutting them with a knife or tearing the leaves -- the 5-bladed scissors handle the task quickly and efficiently. Highly recommended set!
